I rented from Distinct Property Management for 2 years, and Nora and her team were amazing! As a college student, it was my first time dealing with rentals, and I was learning as I went. They answered every question I had, and more, all while treating me with respect. Throughout the rental period, they were always prompt with responses and information, giving me advanced notice of any changes to HOA, policy, maintenance, or news.
Overall, I would highly recommend renting from them! They made the adjustment to living off campus easy and smooth. If I was still in the area, I would definitely rent

We are a unique HOA, with many "out of the ordinary" needs. Our historic building is over 100 years old, with such challenges as antiquated plumbing, knob-and-tube fuse boxes, and insufficient reserves. We are grateful that Distinct was willing to take us on, and have been delighted and relieved to have their financial expertise, procedural recommendations, project management, follow-through, and can-do attitude in a complicated environment. Nora is prompt in responding, and a "dog on a bone" with project completion. You will not find a more meticulous bookkeeper than Rossana. They are always available

Distinct manages the rental that we live in and finally (!!) a property management company that gets it done! They are reliable, prompt in all of their responses and really attempt to be fair to both property owners AND their tenants.
We have had some extremely bad experiences before renting through Distinct and we actually recommended them to our landlady who is also very happy.

Our company is new to the Santa Cruz multi-residential real estate market. We have built a 17-unit condo project in downtown. Not having an office presence in Santa Cruz, we were very worried about the day-to-day management and Home Owner Association tasks. Nora Brink and her staff at Distinct have come to the rescue and done a fantastic job in every respect, managing the Association and our asset. She is incredibly responsive and diligent, going beyond the 'call of duty' in many instances to solve OUR problems! We would not hesitate to have Distinct manage any other assets that we may acquire

We own a 3 bedroom home in Pasatiempo and Nora has done a wonderful job managing the property for us. She has been prompt, professional and very thorough with her management. Nora arranges appointments when work needs to be done on the home. She is the contact person for our tenants and passes on anything that she feels we need to know about or address. She has listed the property and found good tenants both times we have had vacancies. Distinct Property Management has done an outstanding job with our property and we highly recommend Nora as a property manager.

I own a 3 bedroom townhome by UCSC and have had various college students living there for the past 4 years. Nora as my property manager has been extremely helpful and instrumental to deal with any issues that have been raised with my tenants. She is also a great communicator and always on top of any related matters for the upkeep of my property and my relationship with my happy tenants.
I am really satisfied with my selection of her services and her agency and I highly recommend her if you are considering a well rounded and caring property manager.

Excellent and Professional!! Distinct Property Mgmt and Nora Brink have been a godsend to me as a landlord with just a few rentals. She has stepped in when I needed new tenants found and vetted, bringing me solid people. I can also turn to Nora when I need advice dealing with the CA Landlord/Tenant maze of laws. Everything she has done has been at a fair price and good quality. Take it from a landlord of 30+ years, this is a good pick.
