My transmission starting messing up while I was traveling through Dallas and I found Addison automotive and the took on the job for the transmission replacement. They kept me up to date and everything going on and anytime there was a change or something was found. I had to fly back there from Tennessee and they worked with me on timing to be sure I didn’t spend anymore time than I needed to get home. Living in or Dallas or passing through and need work done, these guys are really professional and provide quality work.

Sherry at Addison Automotive on Inwood is absolutely AMAZING.
I have been going to her for years and she's the BEST MECHANIC OF DALLAS.
Alot of women feel similar to how i do, whenever i need to give my car some TLC and take it to the mechanic; alot of times its a couple of rude guys that are having a power trip and need to patronize someone just so they can feel good about themselves. When i have to go that makes me not want to. If somebody sold you a service that you needed for a fraction of the cost at a dealership with better expertise, service, and communication, wouldn't you want that? No agenda to try and sell you another car when the one you have works great when treated right. Wouldn't you pay for it? I did. I'd do it again. It's been months since I got my Jeep's oil leak fixed and engine tuned up. It's back to running like a dream. No drama, just back to being the workhorse it's designed to be thanks to Sherry and team.

First off this is one of the most honest shops I have dealt with in my many years of needing service work. Honest and upfront quote with worst case scenario. I prefer that. Also sharing info and progress through the job and offering to replace items while in the job that need attention or that may be issues in the near future. Offering advice on if something needs to be replaced or to leave it alone.
I would totally take any of my vehicles to them and recommend all family and friends to them every chance I get.

i cannot recommend this place enough! sherry was able to get me in quickly when my radiator went out. she gave an estimate over the phone, and when the car was diagnosed, stuck to the estimate. she got it done so quickly as well! they are truly great! i truly felt heard and appreciated as a customer, and that's hard to come by.

Great shop! Sherry is great at communicating with you to ensure everyone is on the same page about the work being performed, and then keeping you updated when they have your vehicle. They also stand by their work and redid an alignment for me that was less than perfect. I’ve now put over a thousand miles on my vehicle since my repairs and everything looks and is running great. I’ll definitely be back next time I need a mechanic!
