Cross Country Cycle opened it's doors during Tulip Time in 1984 with only $2000 of parts, accessories, and bicycles. Things have changed dramatically. But the service and home-town feel have not. We are a family owned and operated full service bicycle shop. The walls are now filled with parts and accessories of many varieties.
Our service staff is professionally trained to work on all makes and models of bicycles, not just the ones we sell. And each member of the service team participates in skill-advancement sessions with factory service techs several times each year. Whether it's a minor tune-up or a major overhaul, you can count on us to do the job right the first time, every time.

I hit a bump in the road and my bike frame broke. I had a couple paint deep scratches from just above the crack that were not dents at all but just scratches. Without even making an effort to get Specialized to warrant the frame, Laura judged me a liar and said there was an impact there that caused the fracture. I have never hit anything on my bike or been hit by anything. That's $2,000 down the drain because Laura doesn't care enough for her customer to at least attempt to get Specialized to take care of me. As if that wasn't enough, I asked for an estimate for a repair and Laura said she would

We were staying in the area for the month and went there to get a seasonal tune up for our bikes. The price was fair and service was quick, friendly and excellent. When we went to pick our bikes up we asked about having someone look at our bike seats to see if they needed to be adjusted etc. Laura, who we think is an owner, spent a lot of time with us explaining how much seats have changed since we got our bikes 15+ years ago. Laura measured us for a seat and then we tried out a few seats on our bikes riding around the store and settled on new ones. After riding our bikes for a few days I decided

* Edit - Do you ask everyone's name who walks in your shop? I'm sure that people can tell the quality of service that they would receive just based on the tone of your response. And I never inquired for anything for my Mother! This is a matter of we found excellent service and prices elsewhere, as I said.

We have six bikes at our home and Cross Country Cycle has always provided great service with tubes, tires, brakes etc. 3 people in our family had uncomfortable seats and the folks at this shop have been especially helpful with getting them fitted for the right size of seat. The change in ride comfort was amazing for all three.

We are new to the bicycling world and went in with lots of questions. We were specifically looking for bike trainer. We had all our questions answered and never felt pressured to purchase anything. Very down to earth people. Will definitely use exclusively for our bicycle shop. We did end up buying the trainer.

I drove two hours each way to buy a bike at Cross Country Cycle (It was a model not readily available near my home.) Laura made sure that everything was ready for me upon my arrival. I had submitted a fit sheet from a previous fitting session, and the bike was set up perfectly. The sales and delivery experience was perfect, and after sale support and communication has been outstanding. I am a bike nut, always looking for the next bike to add. This purchase experience stands out among many as one of the very best.

Cross Country Cycle is the best bike shop in town! So helpful and friendly! We came in from out of town and wanted to rent a bike to ride the awesome bike trails nearby. I called ahead of time and Laura listened to what we needed and recommended the perfect bike for the trails. They were closed on Sunday, but she left the bike outside for us to pick up. The next time we're in town, we'll definitely be back to CCC. Thank you!!
