Dr. Sirtaz S. Sibia, D.O., F.A.O.C.O. is a board certified ophthalmic surgeon who believes in personally attending to each patient's individual needs with sensitivity and discretion. Accommodating IOLs, unlike spherical IOLs that are designed to provide clear vision at a single focal point, accommodating IOLs expand the range of vision with aspheric design and haptics. Multifocal IOLs correct presbyopia with added magnification in different parts of the lens so that you can see clearly at all distances without glasses or contact lenses.
Sibia Eye Institute is happy to announce that we offer the first FDA approved trifocal intraocular lens implant in the country. An intraocular lens is implanted in your eye during your cataract surgery. After the cataract is removed, the soft lens in placed inside the eye where it conforms to the surface.
The advanced TECNIS Multifocal is an implantable lens that significantly improves vision after cataract surgery and corrects presbyopia. Designed to help you regain younger vision and be free of glasses, the TECNIS Multifocal Lens can provide you with high-quality vision at all distances and in all lighting conditions-even in dim light.
This will be the ONLY lens on the market that will provide accommodation as well as fix astigmatism! This intraocular lens provides correction for astigmatism while delivering a broad range of improved vision for patients undergoing cataract surgery. This lens can correct up to 3 diopters of astigmatism and has unsurpassed FDA results in uncorrected vision, stability and reduction of astigmatism.

Frustrating beyond belief. You get told different things by different staff at Dr. Kaplan’s office resulting in you wasting your time trying to call the office. If you leave a message don’t expect a call back and when they do answer, they tell you to call back in 15 minutes and then they won’t answer for days and will not respond to your voice messages. The medical associates seem very competent, but the business operations have little consideration for the patients.

Horrible staff. A medical office charging for masks.. insane. My friend has lost vision in her left eye and they refuse to help remedy the situation. Also stated during her procedure to the nurse to not notate the mistake the doctor made at the time. Lawyers will be involved I just wanted to make others aware before booking here. Also front staff is disgustingly rude ! (Boca location)

They also have a Boynton Beach Location.
I had Dr Sibia do my cataract surgery. He explained everything and gave me some options. I opted for the laser surgery. Lasted 12/15 minutes.
He even called me @ 8 PM after the surgery to check on me.
Very easy recovery. 20/20 vision in that eye.
Very pleased

The ladies picking up the phone are extremely rude and they have an attitude problem. The same idiot hung up on my father 3 times in a row when he tried to reschedule his appointment because the office moved his appointment time. I wouldn't recommend this office to anyone. Extremely unprofessional. We have 9 family members that go here and we are dropping them.

I called to try to schedule my elder mother's appt (she was referred to this office to be seen ASAP). Two weeks goes by and no one called. The girl who answered didn't want to hear it and complained "we are two people in this office and we are overworked and things are bad now so this is what it is." WOW, okay...well, where is this my problem? Don't go here or either location, she said the phones roll over. We are all in this pandemic together but if you are not happy where you work, move on because there are plenty of caring people who need jobs and can do the work.

I've been to some shabby places, but this place takes the cake. I don't understand how they have managed to obtain so many high reviews. I was referred to the office by a patient and had to wait close to a month for my first appointment for both my wife and myself. The day before our appointment got a call from someone who didn't identify herself, telling me Dr. Rubinte couldn't make the appointment as she had to do surgery the next day. Hard to believe they only scheduled the surgery the day before, but O.K. She rescheduled both appointments for April 26, 2021. When we arrived

Dr. Sibia is one of the best, from explaining everything down to the core to answering questions. The girls working there are amazing! They are all very kind and polite. Al though I do have to say one of the super visors yelled at a new worker twice from across the hallway in-front of employees and myself very unprofessional!

If you are looking into getting Lasik/PRK and have come across Dr. Burger DO IT! I have been in glasses for the majority of my life with a severely high prescription. Lasik has been something I have floated around on for years mainly because of fear of the procedure itself. Dr. Burger was recommended to me by a friend and former patient of his. From the initial consultation, I was immediately put at ease when I met with Suzanne. She is such a sweetheart! Kind, warm friendly, professional and empathetic personality. She reassured me and answered any questions I had regarding the procedure, and what

First and last visit! Appointment made for contact lens exam with prescription for my special lenses. They did a few routine tests, then the Dr. finally saw me only to say they do not do prescriptions for my type of contacts! That was the sole purpose of my visit!
They refused to refund my copay as now I need to STILL get my prescription and my insurance only allows one visit/exam every 2 years!

I heard a lot of people taking about the Sibia Institute and decided to try them. Booked an appointment almost a month out because that was the only way to see Dr. Sibia. The exam took 2.5 hours and it was like a factory. They did nothing more than my regular Dr. Dr. Sibia arrives after everyone else goes through their part in my eye exam, the Dr. walks in, does not even look at you and reviews his staff's work then leaves. For this I waited three weeks to see him. But the icing on the cake was that the prescription they gave me was not correct. I knew just by looking at it and had

I am not a patient of Dr. Sibia. I do not know him. I am writing however in defense of his refraction fee of $40 after just reading the review of Rebecca F. (I gave him 5 stars because you have to give a rating on Yelp in order to write a review). I am a retired ophthalmologist, having practiced for 30 years in New Jersey before retiring to Florida. I had found that the "refraction fee" to examine for glasses or the "contact lens fee" to update a contact lens prescription were probably the two charges most misunderstood by patients and understandably so. However the medical

I was there 2 times. My visits was because of consultation of Lasik surgery. And both times staff of this clinic was terrible, irresponsible and unprofessional. They can't hear a patients. They don't know what to do. All their questions when they see you just about money. It was the worse experience which i evere had. Don't go there.

My experiences with Sibia Eye Institute have always been great. Staff is very friendly and I consider Dr. Sibia as the best Opthamoligist MD in Palm Beach County. I recommend friends to him all the time. When you come away from there, you know you have had a very complete eye exam and having diabetes 2 I always feel secure after a visit.

First let me just say that I often spend a while looking at reviews before I make a decision to see a particular doctor. I finally found an eye doctor office that would accept my insurance plan. I received a call from the office manager confirming tey took my insurance. During our conversation I made sure their place didn't sell glasses. I often find pressured into buying the glasses they sell. Which I don't if I don't like them or if there is a better offer somewhere I take the prescription and that is it. I have been doing this for years and I have never been denied or charged
