Well, I had both of my cataract surgeries done in August and the results are spectacular! I have the vision of a teenager (though, amusingly, I wore glasses for distant vision as a teenager!), with no further need for reading glasses or difficulties seeing road signs on the interstate ( previously I couldn't see them clearly until I was practically under them!) Dr. Chu and his team have been very proactive in my check ups and tell me they will probably do a few laser "touchups" on the left lens because of a few small deposits (that I am not honestly able to detect, but they want

Fantastic placeInitially I was going to Kleiman Evangelista, but moved to Fort Worth, read Eyeworks great reviews & decided to try them. Very impressed. Much larger place than I imagined & Everyone was top notch. I felt Very comfortable with Opthamologists who examined me. I had one who did the initial exam, one who treated me for my bad dry eyes issue & have an appointment with one for cataract surgery. All 3 Opthamologists were outstanding. Don't think they could've made me any more comfortable than they made me. Awesome experience

I love going here because they are prompt with the appointment I never wait long and I have been fortunate to see the same person each time . I don't know if they do that on purpose but it does add a extra comfort level . They also don't pressure you to do anything if they have anew eye test they ask you only once if you would like to try it and if you say no they do t pressure you about it and after when you get prescription it is up to you if you want to see the group there and pick out frames or if you want to take a copy of your script and go elsewhere . Extremely rude staff. I was so uncomfortable during my whole appointment. The doctor spoke to me for about 1minute. The front door ladies do not want to be there and are not helpful when it comes to frequently asked questions. I have never felt so uncomfortable and disappointed at a Dr office like this before.

Thank you to the incredible medical staff. Had to take my boyfriend in with metal shavings in his eye. They gave him some numbing drops in the waiting room because they actually asked if he was in pain. Another staff member walked passed in the waiting room who hadn't even met us and stopped to ask if he needed anything because he looked in pain. Wonderful Wonderful medical receptions too, walked me through everything to get my boyfriend checked in because I was an anxious mess. I've never seen my man in so much pain and I'm so thankful to these amazing people who took such good

I went to another facility and they doubled and gotten my prescription completely off when I receive their glasses. I had been to Eyeworks before and wanted a second opinion. They were very prompt with reviewing the situation and did extra testing to see if my vision has changed that drastically. If I had worn the other prescriptions my eyes would've been ruin. I am very grateful for the honesty and clarity of both for Dr. Matthew, & Heidi who does the guy where in another Eyeworks clinic. I get the most fantastic service and the Hulen store has the most beautiful us office and staff but

Such a good place to go fro glasses and eye appointments! I was in and out in no time! I felt very sanitary as they have everyone use hand sanitizer before walking in to the office. Vinessa was so very helpful in my glasses process. She was able to help me with my insurance troubles, help me pick out glasses that look best, and had the absolutely best most inviting attitude ever! She is so willing and helpful it makes the stress of an appointment so much better! The entire staff was very quick in responding to my questions, calls, etc. THANK Y'ALL!

I'm going to preface this by pointing out that I hardly ever leave reviews, negative or positive but after this experience I felt I had to speak out, and 1 star is me being generous.
I scheduled a new patient appointment at this location with the first available doctor, so I took the time off of work because they're not able to fit you in on weekends for glasses or contact lens exams. This was a horrific experience. I will not be coming back to Eyeworks.
At the front desk, the staff did not address or greet me. I had to go get their attention about my appointment. Trying to get the appointment was a huge hassle. I called two different offices and emailed them (using the system on the website). I never got through via call. The way my appointment was scheduled was through email and it was confirmed via email and text. In both confirmations, it gave me a different location from the Hulen location, which is the office I requested. I called again to get clarity, but no one picked

Unfortunately, Chu Eyeworks has really gone downhill now that Dr. Lena and her husband are not around to oversee things. All the good service providers from the tall, sweet, competent lady at the front desk to Mike at Optical are gone. When calling, you are put on hold and forgotten about. Staff now seems young and inexperienced, so lots of turnover apparently. Dr. Robert does not have a warm manner and I think it is tacky that he parks his expensive car right in front of the building - makes me feel the high prices are going for his car payment.

I've been coming here for years, mostly because it's close to home.
The doctors are ok but the front desk staff is terrible. More likely than not, if you call you will be placed on hold. Sometimes they will forget about you. It's frustrating.
Also, you make an appointment for 10 and wind up waiting for over 45 minutes. It's absolutely unacceptable.
They really need to improve their customer service.
Also, Their prices are not competitive.

Worst eye doctor visit I've ever had. I originally was scheduled to be seen at the West 7th office and was sent to the Hulen office because Dr. Matthew was in network. When I arrived and began talking with Dr. Matthew, he repeatedly kept interrupting me while I tried to explain the full picture of the recurring stye issue I was experiencing with my eye. Thank you for making it easy to never return to your shop again. Mike the manager didn't even have enough courage to come see me to deliver news that he would not help me with the glasses I bought from them. 8 pairs bought here by me and another 4 from my wife. We have been coming here for the last 8yrs. Will not fight for their clients or lift a finger to help. Loyalty goes nowhere with this place. Time to find another eye doctor and eye glass store.

I made an appointment easily and arrived for what I expected to be a short and simple eye exam and contact fitting. However, the lady at the front desk was rude, telling me I do not have insurance. I showed her my eye insurance card on my phone, she still claimed I did not have insurance as it did not show up on her computer. After calling my insurance, they confirmed to her that I did indeed have insurance. She then said, "ok, but for your insurance to work you have to buy two boxes of contacts from us". I had a foreign object lodged in my upper eyelid which was scratching my eyeball.
Dr Robert Chu removed it, explained (in terms I could understand) what was going on, removed the object, which felt HUGE, but actually wasn't, and prescribed antibiotics .
My entire time spent there was 35 minutes.
Im sure unforeseen circumstances may make appointments longer, but having your insurance handy when making your appointment, and focusing on the care provided, rather than any small inconveniences, you'll be very

I was recommended to contact this office by my colleague since I'm all new to Fort Worth. I contacted other ophthalmologist offices before discovering this one. This one by far, surpass my experience compared to all the other ones I contacted in Forth Worth. The receptionist was so sweet and accommodating. She was lovely to work with.
I had a rapid onset of medical issues with my eye and the office was able to squeeze me in a same day appointment. I was so grateful because some other places told me that they would not be able to see me until a week later.

This place is really atrocious. I've never ordered glasses from a place with such a horrible customer service. Once I placed my order for a custom frame, it went on MONTHS without me hearing a word. I don't mind if my glasses are coming in late but at least I'd like to know about it. I have to call back multiple times to inquire about the status of my order and everytime they assure me it's only a couple of days away. Finally they arrive but the frame is not even the right color. Dr. Chu. Looks quite young like one of my kids. Do not let that fool you. Dr.Chu is a truly a miracle worker. I've been wearing eyewear since they strapped my first pair on at 3 months old. 53 years. Had my first cataract removed yesterday and today, for the first time, I greeted the world without glasses. OMG. This is a game changer.
I can see clearly now the cataract is gone. I can see all obstacles in my way.
