Before summer begins or if you're A/C is blowing hot air, come to High Street Automotive for a FREE check. We'll visually inspect hoses, lines, seals and other components for leaks, check temperature readings, check that your compressor is operating properly, and inspect the drive belt for cracks or damage.
When your car is properly tuned, the ignition system, fuel system, emission system, and computer system are all working together. My hood lift support needed to be replaced. A few shops replied but High Street Auto was the second to respond. The cost of the part including installation was the most reasonable of all who responded and Terry was able to give me an appointment the very next day. The shop is clean and in a nice location and the job they performed was quick and to my satisfaction. I think I have found my go to car repair shop.

Excellent service for a great price. I recently brought my car in for an oil change and manufacturer recommended service. Terry quoted me a very low rate, so I took him up on that. When my car was done, he thoroughly went over everything his team did (they rotated the tires and inspected the brakes for free!), and I never felt ripped off. A good mechanic is work his weight in gold. Highly recommend!

I travel full time with a 2010 Ford F250 pulling a large trailer. When I broke down just outside of Fremont, I decided to call around to see who could get me in the quickest. Terry said he could take a look same day, and after a couple of hours let me know the truck needed a new drive shaft. Got it replaced and was back on the road that evening for a fair price and a warranty included on the repair. Would definitely recommend High Street Automotive for service and timeliness. I went for a wheel alignment and an oil change. They were really nice and even let me leave my car overnight. I was a little bummed that when I had break work done the following week(because their break prices were high) I was informed that I didn't even need a wheel alignment, I previously told the guy at the front desk at high street what I was experiencing and why I believe I needed a wheel alignment. Actually my axle and rotors were badly damaged. I just wish there were more honest people in this world. Not to mention this how dangerous it was to drive in my car's condition.

The reason I picked this place was because it has great Yelp rating. I like to say that customer service here is great, however my experience here was not that great. Let me list out the pros and cons.

I was here for a check engine light, and after they did a diagnostics. They figure it was a sensor problem. Replaced the sensor but the light stays on. I got charged for it, and the problem wasn't fixed. (So basically I pay for a sensor that may have not needed to be replaced)

Had an AC unit in my 2007 Toyota Camry that had stopped working for a year. I came by and they did a free diagnosis. Other companies didn't seem honest as if they wanted to rope me in and started charging me for this and that. High Street did right by me and was straight up with all the information and genuinely wanted to help me fix my problem. They diagnosed and fixed my AC unit and I am incredibly grateful for them. Will be back for sure!

My Honda's battery kept getting drained even though I had just installed a new battery. I asked around and the Honda dealership charged $180 to do an inspection, and other auto repair shops charged anything between $100 to $200 an hour to do a diagnostics! The High Street Automotive does diagnostics for free!! That is great value! They ran diagnostics on my car for an entire day, turned out the new battery was faulty and I swapped it with a new one from the place I bought them. The High Street Automotive didn't charge me a dime!! They were helpful, honest and professional! I just found a permanent

High Street Automotive recently repaired our car after a freak accident with a broken bolt tore up our front brakes. They couldn’t have been more accommodating. When they called with the estimate, they answered our questions and gave us a time to expect completion of the necessary repairs. Will called us to confirm our car was ready and under the estimate at the time he said it would be done. Nothing but high praise for High Street Automotive!!

Have yet to have my car serviced here (plan to soon). The reason for the 5 stars is from my initial experience with them. The owner and his staff are knowledgeable, professional, come across very trustworthy. I consulted with them about replacing a hybrid battery in and older car and their advice was consistent with my research and they even gave some extra feedback that helped me make the best decision I could. Their repair quote was honest and fair (almost half of what the dealer was quoting). Will use them when the need arises.
