202 Fitness is a private personal training studio located in Falls Church, Virginia. We are committed to providing a private, non-threatening environment for individuals of all ages, genders and fitness levels to achieve their fitness goals under the guidance of experienced and motivating personal trainers.
Services
A: Sessions range from $45 to $75, depending on the length of the session, the number of sessions you pre-purchase, and the number of clients sharing the training session. There are no membership fees or orientation fees - the only thing you pay for are your personal training sessions. A: 202 Fitness personal training sessions are by appointment only, so our studio does not have set hours of operation.
A certified personal trainer will work with you personally and create a workout plan specifically tailored to your individual needs. You simply show up to exercise and your trainer directs all activities. No more missed workouts. No intimidating situations. No waiting for equipment. Exercising in our private facility dedicated to one-on-one training makes the experience truly unique.

I work out twice a week with Kevin. I'm 70 and fractured my shoulder. Kevin is fun and is helping me work on balance, core strength and mobility. A friend from church recommended Kevin and I'm grateful.

After living a sedentary lifestyle for a while, my husband and I decided to get a personal trainer who could train us both at the same time. We were lucky to find 202 Fitness and Arnie. Arnie is in impeccable shape, and is well versed in yoga, pilates, boxing, personal training, etc. which was very impressive to you.
Unlike other personal trainers, she kicks your butt without any risk of injury. She and Kevin are both warm and welcoming. They offer you fresh, scented towels, and water. The studio is clean is non threatening. I love going to my sessions and already see a change!

I am a 60 y.o. woman who hasn't exercised in several years. Arnie has helped me get back into exercise with a series of interesting, demanding and fun workouts. She is encouraging without being bossy and tailors each session to my needs, ensuring that I am getting stronger and more flexible each week. There are so many variations on using the diverse equipment and the whole place is spotlessly clean and brightly lit. I never thought I would be so comfortable working out! I am rediscovering muscles and bones I thought I had lost 20 years ago. So happy I found this place!

There is no doubt, Mikhail has changed the way I work out.
Having no gymnastic background whatsoever was not an issue. Mikhail was able to slowly incorporate his elite gymnastic training-background to increase my total body strength, endurance, agility, as well as flexibility. The progressions he taught me and variations on body weight exercises have made a huge difference since I began working out with him.

Kevin and his staff are great. I've been trying everything under the sun on my own to get in shape, but nothing stuck. Kevin's team set up a program my wife and I could do together. Their deal for spouses/partners is a no brainer.
They make you feel at ease and comfortable regardless of skill level. They make great use of the space. I highly recommend them

I've been doing personal training since December and I have not been disappointed. I work out with Rob and he has helped me reduce body fat/gain muscle and helped me discover muscles that I never knew existed. I am recovering from a bulging lumbar disc and they take great care to make sure I am not aggravating the injury while strengthening the surrounding muscles. I've had some bad experiences just with the sales pitch of 24 Hour Fitness when I went to check out prices, but there was no judgment here. Great hidden gem here in the Falls Church area.

Kevin's a really cool guy. The facilities are central and easy to find. Sessions get results. Prices are great. Definitely try it out! A trainer I would have stuck with if I stayed in the area.

The guys at 202 Fitness actually know what they're talking about. The proof is the results I've seen. Training with Kevin Dowling has resulted in some of the most dramatic changes by body has ever seen. My muscle mass has increased dramatically. My shoulders practically rip out of my shirts. I've also lost weight and increased my cardio stamina TREMENDOUSLY. One of the things that Kevin is so good at is assessing where your fitness level currently is and designing a program that is tailor-made just for you. My wife and I have been working with Kevin for over a year. He is professional, personable, and most important - really good at what he does! He likes specializing on working with older adults, but does a great job with 30-40 somethings like me and the wife.

I highly recommend Kevin / 202 Fitness. I've generally been turned off by personal trainers at the gym, feeling as if it's a big sales pitch and hitting one's month end goals versus caring about the client. Kevin is the complete opposite. From the beginning Kevin made me feel welcome, without being pushy or overbearing.

I have never had a personal trainer and I was never keen on the idea of having a personal trainer. Typically, I work out on my own and keep active through sports, etc. But, gym can become really boring and even when I change things up, it still feels less challenging. It becomes mundane after awhile.

I have had a few sessions with Kevin now and he is great. He is a great motivator and I like that he focuses on form so that it's hard to get away with cheating. His style of teaching and instruction keeps you motivated.

Kevin's been my Falls Church area trainer for probably 4-5 years and I have followed him to this new business location and watch it grow. I'm not a gym enthusiast by default. The space is terrific and the atmosphere is always low-key and positive. His gym is a clean, well organized space and Kevin will fully customize to suit your goals. Kevin is a great trainer. He has none of that rah-rah b.s. that a lot of trainer exude. He is nonjudgmental, positive and helpful, a truly pleasant guy who is committed to helping people get healthy. He is expert at finding the right exercises and varying the routine to keep it fresh. He has had to work around some old injuries and limitations with me.

The studio has just enough equipment but no gimmicks. It is in a slightly run-down building -- but it's safe and convenient and is comfortable to work out in. One drawback is no shower -- but there is a private room to change in. They keep
