Simply the best mechanic I have ever done business with. Honest reliable and more than fair pricing. I have a 30 year old Wagoneer and Thom treats it like a new car. This is my third truck that Thom has worked on and his service has always been at the same level. This is my third and final attempt to use Thom's. Each and every time I come in or call to get work done on my truck, they turn me away for having my own parts. And when I have asked how much it would be if they ordered the same parts from the same source, the price is doubled! They are the only shop I know that won't accept a customers "brand new, under warranty" part for install... they say it's because of insurance reasons but it's clear it's because they want to gauge you on part costs. So disappointing! I spend a lot of money on my cars and would have really liked a "So Called" 4x4 shop to

I popped in basically to ask a favor… To mount and balance some street/strip tires and wheels I had bought on line. After basically being turned away by two other shops, (“sorry, we only mount new tires that we sell… warranty… blah blah bla…”) Not only did Thoms welcome me and do the job for way less than I was willing to pay, I had the pleasure of meeting Thom and he actually spent a fair amount of time with me talking about his amazing business. I loved hearing every detail. HMU when you’re ready to sell, Thom!

I've taken my Jeep Grand Cherokee to Thom's a couple of times now for service and like a fine wine, they just seem to get better and better. I've yet to see another auto shop send you detailed write ups on your inspection including pictures of the areas in need of work. The transparency alone is worth the price of admission. If you need to talk through anything from pricing, timing, etc. give Greg a call. He is knowledgeable, thorough, and very candid with you so you can make an informed decision. As long as Thom's is in business, I'll be a loyal customer with all my SUVs.

Thom was extremely knowledgeable about the issues I was facing. When I brought my ‘05, 104k-mile Wrangler in, it has a lot of rattling going down the highway. Hitting a bump cause a lot of noise. Now, there’s practically no sound. Steering is tighter. The car feels safer. Very grateful! Thank you Thom

Took my XJ Cherokee to Thom's because my heat was blowing cold and spoke to Gregg. Little did I know I would find my new favorite shop on the Northside. After they flushed the system thoroughly my heater is almost TOO hot without any pricey repairs! They could have just skipped that step and told me the whole system was shot, but they know what they're doing and saved me hundreds of bucks. Being a 2001 Jeep, naturally they gave me a comprehensive list of recommendations for other maintenance via text message including photos which was awesome. Never at any point did I feel like I was being upsold
