Reaching out to Apex was a waste of time. I asked for a consultation, but instead of scheduling a consultation, I was handed over to an admin who asked me questions for 15 minutes. She said they would get back to me with a decision on whether they would take the case. No mention of my request to schedule a consultation. I asked, specifically, if they would share the basis of their decision if they opted not to take the case. When I received their response—which was that they were not going to take the case—I was told that they "declined" to share their reasons with me. Apex is clearly cherry

They string you along for a year and then avoid speaking to you any further. I don't know who you have to be to get actual help from this place!
These people have wasted valuable time that I can never get back as time is of the essence in Social Security Disability situations.
I've called and left numerous messages requesting a cb for status to no avail.
I wouldn't bother to even give them your info if you're a regular person like me because you're case will go into the "do nothing" pile.

2nd times filing for SSD I found Steven Earl he was amazing. I won my case. He kept me informed of every step, is very knowledgeable and cares. He takes pride in his career. The worst law firm I've ever dealt with and I was a paralegal for years. Ignored calls for weeks, emails and just very unprofessional. We made them aware is the denial letter we got the beginning of June. They just acknowledged it yesterday. We hired a better firm and now they're are now sharing case files which I provided most of. I'm impressed by the good views and people that actually got help and calls back. Do your homework Do your research and find somebody that can appeal and will actually call you back. My daughter (24 yrs old) has been finally diagnosed with Epilepsy after many years of seizures. We are doing EVERYTHING we possibly can to get them under control. In the meantime, she has not been able to work. She has tried to work a job several times, but due to the seizures, as well as the people she has worked for not wanting her there, she has not been able to keep the job, despite her every effort. She has to feed herself, and somehow pay to live, so she applied for disability. After more than half a year of giving paperwork, she was denied.

I felt kinda by myself with this paperwork and SSI. 2 employees would not Return my phone calls. I never met my attorney....however, I did finally speak with him after I received my 1st payment of back pay. I have worked with attorneys in the past and this definite felt like I was just being sneaky and using Steven Earl's name. Yes that's it. Like I doing something I shouldn't by using his name. On the other hand, I didn't feel like u were being pushy or telling me I had a deadline or some other line of nonsense. So I was pleased either way. Don't bother with this firm. I chose to contact them because they listed the medical condition I have been diagnosed with as one that is commonly awarded disability for. Not only am I diagnosed with said condition, I am unlucky enough to have the most severe level of that illness and have lost 7 jobs in just 2 years because of my illness. In the last 13 yrs i have had only one job for more than one year. After wasting 45 minutes of my time on the call the guy I spoke with said its not a case they will take. No explanation. Obviously he had zero understanding of nor experience with my

My case was passed onto Mr. Earl as McDivitt law firm apparently does not handle disability cases if they go to trial.
Mr. Earl and his team did a great job of getting my paperwork together with my help and was on top of everything.
It was not necessary to have multiple calls/meetings as he is involved with constant cases (but still time for yours) and he is well received.
We went to trial where he had everything in order so things went smoothly, he had additional questions showing my disability, and knew what to expect.
