Had a ton of electrical issues in my car that sat for ages, brought my car over to these guys, they handled it in a few days, got my car back looking and running brand new, no longer having the issues it had and they did a great job cleaning it from moss etc. highly recommend traftons to anybody that owns a vw, audi and porsches. great people, great attitude and jeff will handle any questions you have!!! really appreciate everyone working there for doing such a great job and taking such good care of my vehicle.

I was only in Portland for a day but the friendliest people I came across were in this here Auto-shop. I felt taken care of in an efficient manner and Jeff and his staff explained things in a thorough and helpful way.
I can tell that Jeff likes his job and he takes pride in doing it well - from crystal clear communication to flexibility on options and all with a smile!

This place is awesome!!!! My 2008 VW Rabbit had a trunk lock issue. Full disclosure, I am one of those annoying DIYers (just for minor maintience, bc of budget). Well, I stripped out a bolt while trying to replace my trunk lock, and being new to the area started calling around and found some shops scheduling 2 months out, good lord.
Trafton's told me to come by that same day, fixed my problem in less then a minute, and gave me absolutely zero grief for my DIY misdeeds (and the rugged "adventure condition" my car is in). I will definently be returning to Trafton's Foreign Auto for upcoming more

The crew at Trafton’s Foreign Auto is without a doubt the finest and most knowledgeable shop in the Portland Metro Area.
I drive a classic air-cooled Porsche 911. I originally took to the the authorized Porsche Shop for repair of several issues.
That shop had the car for over a month and did not repair (was unable to repair) any of the four items that were the reason for going there in the first place.
In fact they told me they could find nothing wrong with my clutch and transmission. They charged me thousands of dollars for other repairs which they “discovered” were necessary. So in frustration

Trafton took delivery of my 2013 A6 on short notice and their skilled team took care of the issues. I believe the job required more time than anticipated but they kept me updated on progress and honored their quoted fee. I will use them in the future for sure.

I took my Porsche in to Traftons and I was very impressed with how professional they were. Jeff seemed to be all knowing and could answer every question I had. I couldn't afford all of the repairs that I needed done, so Jeff made it easy for me to prioritize my repairs. Everyone in the shop was very welcoming and eager to help me. After waiting over a year for parts or a 73 VW type3 at another place I called Traftons. Jeff and crew diagnosed the problem as the fuel pump and ordered it. When it too failed to solve the problem, “running rich” they sent the new one back and our original out to be rebuilt. Back on the road in just under a month at Traftons and on budget too. I look forward to seeing them again for our VW needs. Thanks
