Local restaurateurs Ben and Liza introduce Valley Smoke BBQ to their collection of restaurants including the four Fish Camps, Dockside Seafood Restaurant and the original Marker 32 Restaurant of Northeast Florida. Chef Ben opened Marker 32 twenty-five years ago after graduating from the Culinary Institute of America and continues his tradition of creating southern-inspired culinary creations with his Southern Table Hospitality team.

Valley Smoke overlooks the serene waters of the Intracoastal Waterway and features slow-smoked BBQ, southern-inspired seafood, chicken and venison selections with USDA Prime Steaks cooked to perfection over a wood-fired grill. The vibrant bar and lounge feature a rare selection of Bourbon and Scotch located in the Bourbon Library, complimented by a wine list featuring 150+ bottles personally selected by Chef Ben.

Celebrated my son's 21'st birthday here! The service staff was perfect!! They gave a great table, greeted us perfectly. Server was very nice and personable. We were there well past closing and she insisted that we stayed until she served our cake.

The food was incredible! Everyone loved everything!! Nice, higher end BQ! One of my favorite restaurants.

I had heard great things about this place. We were not disappointed. Outstanding selection of bourbon and good food. The pork chops, fried chicken, and Carolina pork was excellent. Service was great.

From food quality, lighting, music to the VIP Valet and ROCKSTAR BAR TEAM, lead by Allen, Chelsea, David and new to the Valley, Mica, the experience is like no other! Chef Mike, Soyuz Chef Troy & the entire “Kitchen” team are 4 Aces every night!! If you choose anywhere else to eat, drink &/or be merry, you’ll just be prolonging finding culinary utopia!

Our first time at Valley Smoke restaurant was a great success. We were celebrating our daughter's birthday and we celebrated in style. The restaurant is lovely and the food, well, we're still talking about it on the ride home. Heather was wonderful on the phone to get us situated and our server Michael was so personable and charming. He was attentive without being overbearing and made great menu recommendations. Now on to the the food; Amazing. Everything we tried blew us away. The poutine fries with brisket were so good we ordered a second one. The shrimp and grits special was just that...special

We just love the food, drinks and ambiance. Always feel welcome even with three young kids—they especially love the outdoor area along the ICW (oh and the ribs😂)

I've been here many times and this visit fell short of the mark. The brisket was a little too fatty but it was still very tasty. The smoked turkey was flavorful and not dry. At this visit, the deviled eggs lacked flavor.
My main disappointment was that our meal was rushed. From the moment we were seated until we left, was about 50". That's too rushed for a meal to include cocktails, appetizers and the main course. We were about 3" into the appetizers when the main course arrived.
However, our server was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Always appreciate the valet

My husband and I wanted to eat here tonight because we have heard great things about it. When we got the hostess stand we asked how long the wait would be and they said 30 minutes. No problem! They put our name on the waiting list then send my husband a text saying 45 minutes. Not that big of a deal. After 45 minutes he walks in and ask about how… much longer and they said they were cleaning off a table.. Ok cool. 25 minutes later they finally send us a text saying our table was ready. They walk us outside on the patio where it was very dark. Sat us down and said someone would be right us

Dinner at the bar is the way to dine for us. You need to go early 5:30 or go around 6:45. This seems to be the time you can get a seat at the bar within 15 minutes. The beet salad with an added meat (Brisket) to make a dinner salad has become my choice. Never too heavy and you feel as though you ate plenty of vegetables and the perfect portion of meat. Just enough room left to share a desert with someone. My date night companion had the 8 oz filet and poblano creamed corn.

Best BBQ!! Very original recipes. Further than typical BBQ. We had BBQ chips with Blue Cheese, Pork Chop with Pear and cranberry sauce, with C& P jalapeño rice and grits. Turkey, German potato salad, baked beans and hot links. Extensive whiskey menu.

Great experience. We've had a reserved table ready for us upon arrival. The service was amazing, everyone was very polite and proactive. It was my mother's birthday and they've put a candle on a warm brownie with a vanilla ice cream that everyone loved it. We all started with some alligator that were served with potato and a cream. My mother and husband ordered the Salmon and my father and I ordered the Churrasco. Both dishes were so tasty and well put on the plate.

The smoked burratta is literally to die for. Seriously, order 1 per person at your table and thank me later. If you like bourbon you’ll love it here. BBQ is superb and service is always phenomenal. New favorite restaurant in PV

Went for second time and go straight to the bbq ribs. The quality and service is excellent.
We went with our dog and sat outside. I love that it's pet friendly

Absolutely perfect in every way. The view from anywhere you sit is beautiful. The food is amazing. We frequently share the 3 meat platter, the ribs is my very favorite, the brisket is so melt in your mouth amazing, I choose the marbled and the outside has a delightful crisp edge which is glorious! The smoked sausage has such a great heat that just gets better and better the more you eat. The best creamed corn I believe I've ever eaten, the green beans are so flavorful and tender, German potatoes are also amazing lol basically everything is amazing. And the very best thing is how many gluten

My last review my only complaint was the lack of a fan and shade on the back patio. Well, both of those where there on my last visit so there ya go.... Again, food and service was great, large party and waitress was fantastic. Food always has wonderful flavor and was perfectly cooked.

The views are amazing let's start with that. Service was sub par but the labor shortage is why so I can't ding on that, our server did the best he could!!! The food is WAY over priced. $20 for two ribs a little handful of pulled pork and two tiny sides. You pay for the atmosphere. Would rather go to a bbq shack instead. The food was good but I think the portions were a rip off. Ribs had a good rub and the pork was moist. Mac and cheese was great but the corn bread was AMAZING!!!!

I can't wait to go back! Shared a bbq platter and fried green tomatoes. We had ribs, shredded pork and brisket. Grits, saw, collards and a corn dish(I think). It was all yummy and the location is totally Florida on the intracoastal waterway. Yummmm!

I don't say these kind of things lightly, these were the best Shrimp and Grits I've had to date. Every piece of the dish was delicious and together it was just amazing. I'd highly recommend them but you really can't go wrong with anything here. You must stop here if you're nearby and looking for a great meal!

Amazing Birthday meal for my daughter…you think it’s a BBQ place….& they do have delicious BBQ, but its so much more. Modern & upscale with a view of the River and boats going by. The service was excellent- Our server, Thyme, was so sweet, helpful with selections & very attentive. You will love their creative menu & specials. We started w/ a small charcuterie board, delicious deviled eggs, & fried green tomatoes that you must try.
My daughter said her sea bass entree was the best she ever had and son-in-law had pork chop entree that he loved…kids devoured the Mac-n-cheese and tomato bisque

We had guests in town and wanted to sit outside and be near the water. We arrived after the lunch crowd and before the dinner crowd and noticed there weren't a ton of people.

The parking lot was pretty large, so you shouldn't have a problem finding a spot. We walked inside and the decor inside was beautiful (in my opinion). Darker wood finishes, large bar area (with rows of liquor), lots of windows.

The hostess showed us to a table outside. I thought we may have gotten on the patio, but we did not, they showed us to a large tent outside with rows of tables. It def doesn't have

One of the hidden gems in Ponte Vedra ~ it's definitely where the locals can go for a wonderful meal and be treated like family.
Fabulous bar and bourbon selection is enormous. Open kitchen allows for that fun-intimate dining experience too!
Lots of seating options (indoor and now outdoors too!) ... along the Inter-Coastal Waterway - great relaxing views.
Complimentary valet parking. Do make reservations!!
