Our passion is to share the benefits of Yoga with everyone. Yoga has been shown to decrease anxiety, blood pressure and cortisol levels. Whether you are just starting yoga or a more advanced practitioner, our goal is to help you find peace in your life by learning how to reduce stress, increase focus and coping skills plus increase flexibility, balance and overall well-being.

Om Shanti was one of 2 yoga studios selected in Suffolk by Memorial Sloan Kettering to provide Yoga at their Commack location. We provide free yoga for Veterans. Yoga has been used in the treatment of PTSD. Teachers are available for private outdoor classes. Join with a few friends and host a class in your yard.

Om Shanti Om radiates such an amazing vibe from the second you step foot in the studio! I went to my first Dharma Yoga class today taught by Charlotte and I'm so glad I did-- it was just what I needed. I left feeling way more balanced, grounded and connected. Grateful for how welcoming everyone was and can't wait for my next class!

It is always a wonderful experience to practice yoga in this “sanctuary”, as I refer to Om Shanti. The owner/teacher Roberta is a remarkable person, and provides us a lovely, comfortable, safe and clean space. ALL the teachers are exceptional, caring and friendly as well. Even my fellow students are a pleasure to share a class with.
I’ve practiced yoga for many years, in many places. Om Shanti is my favorite. Always will be.

A great studio - clean, warm, beautiful - with a professional yet friendly and approachable staff. I have not gone to one class I was disappointed in and the Friday restorative is an excellent ending to a busy work week. I have improved my practice and found a place where I feel totally accepted and welcome no matter what my state of mind. A peaceful retreat from stress and worry!

My wife and I started Yoga this year and we chose Om Shanti. We love this place especially with all the different types of classes they offer. Each time we go, we try and choose a different class and each one is a different, and great experience. The instructors are very encouraging and attentive. Anytime I was struggling with a position or stretch, an instructor would come over and give me a little 1 on 1 time before I could ask for help. So far, my favorite class is Yoga Stretch. I have had many prior surgeries on my right knee, and this class has really helped my mobility. Additionally, these

My first introduction to yoga was at Om Shanti. I immediately felt welcomed and encouraged despite my level of experience. I have met such lovely people in both the students as well as teachers. The only issue I have is my own schedule as it doesn’t allow me to take as many classes as I would like. I also love the extra workshops that are offered throughout the year.

Om Shanti Yoga & Reiki Center is one of my happy places. It is an integral part of my growing practice. The yogis are all real people who are passionate about helping students in the present moment. This is not a yoga studio where you go to just workout... this is a place you go to work within. Namaste.

This is such an inviting and welcoming studio. The instructors are wonderful and really allow you to take your practice where you need to. There are tons of props available for use too. I was so happy when they started a prenatal class upon student suggestion.

I purchased a three month Package with Om Shanti Om in Sayville and would definitely do so again. The instructor’s are knowledgeable, patient, and have a passion for yoga. They will answer questions and give adaptions if you cannot execute a pose. The instructors also keep the clients safe by helping them move into the positions correctly.
