Ischoda Yacht Club is a non-profit club providing its members and guests with food, friendship and a welcoming gathering place. Ischoda is the longest running Yacht Club on Long Island Sound founded in 1886. We operate on a completely volunteer basis for the upkeep and welfare of the club. Ischoda Yacht Club is a family-oriented club and we welcome guests for lunch, dinner or a drink.

Each table can only accommodate a maximum of 6 guests. We ask that while dining, you keep your time at the tables limited when others are waiting to be seated. We ask that you please wear masks while walking around, using the restrooms, and follow the 6ft social distancing guidelines.
Services
Ischoda Yacht Club, one of the oldest clubs on Long Island Sound, was founded in 1886 as the Hallika-Wallika Club by a group of boatmen, mostly fishermen, as there was very little pleasure boating at that time.

In 1901, while Norwalk celebrated its 250th birthday, it's name was changed to the Ischoda Yacht Club, a name from the Mohawk Indian Tribe which meant "A campfire around which the peace pipe was passed", and indicating the peaceful relations the white settlers in Norwalk always had with the Indians. The first meeting places of the club were in East Norwalk, then the center of the shellfish and fishing industries.
We are proud to offer our members and guests the use of the Anchor Room for private events. From showers to birthday parties and more! The Anchor Room can be configured in many layouts, customized with your own decorations and comfortably seats up to 50 guests. Catering, bartender and entertainment available as well.

Delightful! Ischoda Yacht Club is the oldest yacht club in Connecticut. The food is delicious, and it's fun to participate in the Club events. How refreshing to dine in or outside overlooking the docks and boat traffic.

Went with a couple coworkers to celebrate ones success..we came in all different shades and sizes NOT a welcoming place at all.! Bartenders had bad additudes the minute we walked in. Food was mostly all frozen products. Venue is a nice size. Outside patio seemed nice as well but overall experience not a great one.

Never go back. Patrons were rude and threatening and not friendly to families at all. Food was sub par at best and not cheap! All frozen products. Sad for a restaurant in the northeast on the water.
