Bitter End Yacht Club
Founded in 1969 and established as a family retreat in 1973, Bitter End Yacht Club is a world-renowned watersports playground, beloved for its embrace of adventure, its celebration of the the sea, harmony with natural surroundings and dedication to friends, family and fun. Named for our iconic location at the British Virgin Islands' "end of the line, " Bitter End is the final island outpost before the Caribbean Sea meets the open Atlantic Ocean.

Though our village was destroyed by Hurricane Irma in 2017, we quickly realized through the support of our global community that no storm of any category could extinguish the Bitter End spirit. Today, the place looks a little bit different but remains unmistakably Bitter End. With over a mile of waterfront to reimagine, we designed a destination that is tailor-made for our seafaring community.

We went for drinks and the setting is perfect. Food was to go only but that changes in February 2022. Very nicely rebuilt. They have done an amazing job.

Wow what a great vibe and great ambiance. Clean, new and beautiful. Market store is coming along and shelves are filling. However found it pricey even compared to other stores in the area. Bar and beach were excellent. Had lunch in restaurant and the food was truly exceptional. However, we were the only ones there and it still took about 45mins to get our food. A ferry showed up and filled the restaurant with people, I’m glad we got served when we did because I’d expect their wait to be even longer. Resort is well staffed and people are working hard. We will be back.

Visited in early Jan, 2022. It's not fully open yet, but there are plenty of moorings and the bar is open and serving some food. The restaurant spaces were furnished, but people.were bringing the takeout sandwiches.and pizzas to those tables. The bathrooms and showers are available to boating guests, and a small provisioning shop is open. Note that baking is done on the premises, and I can say they sold me one of the best croissants I've ever eaten, anywhere in the world.

One star would be generous. We stopped at bitter end for lunch and waited ~2 hours to get our meals. Rumor has it the owner is from Connecticut, so you’d think he’d have it figured out. Was a day ruiner for sure man.. get it together.

One of a kind retreat; had been wanting to go there for years. Took my wife there for a modestly delayed honeymoon and had a fantastic time. Lots to do; as a lifelong sailor I had a blast with the diverse fleet of craft they had available, the food was great (was there over Thanksgiving) and the staff simply magnificent. I felt perfectly at home the moment I set foot on the dock after an "interesting" ferry ride after sunset..
This first and only visit was pre Irma.....must admit I got choked up when the full extent of the damage was revealed and I am counting the days to be able to return; looking
