My BMW 440i has just recently come off factory warranty and I was tired of being quoted expensive and unnecessary items by the dealership. I haven't owned a Porsche in years, always weary of dealerships and their mechanics I decided to try BTM. Oddly, I was walking my dog at least 12years or so ago and I walked bye BTM, I was admiring a Porsche out front, the owner of the car walked up, we struck up a conversation, he raved about the BTM quality and responsiveness. I never forgot that recommendation, I now agree. They fit me in quickly, didn't try to upsell me, and had me done before I knew. Great so far.

I usually go to Porsche Fremont for anything but it is the holiday season and no time to drive out there. This was just my rear view mirror that fell off the metal clip. I called took my car in they fixed it for free ..they could have easily charged me and I would have paid but they didn't. Because of this they'll who I'll be calling next time my vehicle needs mechanical service.

Great place, after trying a bunch of other places includes the dealership I took my 2013 X3 to BTM. I was pleasantly surprised by how friendly and helpful the owner was. The prices were clear and upfront.
They are knowledgable about automotives and were able to diagnose and fix issues quickly.
The cherry on top was that they detailed the vehicle before they gave it back to me ..

Gentleman answered the phone sounding exhausted and annoyed to be speaking to me. Tried to get a quote on a very simple exhaust job on my car, after refusing to give me a quote and insisting I come in to have a car looked at for a very easy job I offered to explain over the phone (as I had done it once before myself) he abruptly states "it's going to cost you whatever labor it takes for us to finish plus the cost of the parts." It doesn't take a mechanical engineer to understand that when you go to a mechanic you generally pay the price of the parts plus labor, what I was looking

Mike at BTM always keeps in touch and lets me know how things are going. Work is done well, and slightly cheaper than at the dealership. I had a warranty item come up recently and they were awesome, telling me to definitely take it to the dealer for that repair because I'd get a loaner car plus it would all be covered! I recommend!

I have used BTM for anything from basic maintenance, alignment, suspension component replacement, engine overhaul, and engine parts upgrades for both of my Audis. They always communicated well whether or not they were on schedule, and they have always been very flexible with me as well. I will continue to use them as long as I have a euro car.

Brought my 987.2 Cayman to BTM for oil and spark plug change after purchase. Mike on the phone was friendly and was patient in answering any questions I had, took time to explain what maintenance items should be done and what they would check for. He mentioned although they don't use customer provided parts, he would waive the rule the one time since I had bought some of the maintenance items (all oem) previous owner was planning on doing already which was very nice of them. They explained the work at the start, kept me informed over the phone and went over the details again after.

Highly recommended for Smart Car service. So I've always gone to the SmartCar/Mercedes dealership for service. Check engine light came on and dealer quoted $1300 for parts and labor to fix the "issue", on top of the $200 I already paid for the diagnostic. I called BTM to get a quote, within 24hrs Brad returned my call and it was considerably cheaper. But he said BTM would not guarantee the issue would be fixed unless they did their own diagnostic. Which is totally fair. Dropped off the car for a diagnostic. Got a call the next morning that the car was fixed, no parts or additional

BTM's service was awesome. I have been servicing my GTI there for 2 years. When my Jetta needed a repair, BTM's price beat the estimated repair cost of both the VW dealer and an independent shop by 33% resulting in more than $500 saved. BTM also picked up and dropped off the car, which was a big deal because of shelter-in-place.

I have a Porsche 993 C2 that had a strange vibration that I wanted a second opinion on. Brad and Mike were very helpful over the phone + in person. The in person part is hard during this shelter-in-place stage we are at now, but they were helpful and respectful. They were able to give me a diagnosis and didn't charge me the full hour to diagnose which was cool. Brad gave me a tour of the shop as well. They appear to specialize in BMW/Porsche of all generations. I'll come back in the future if needed mainly because of the good customer service, fair pricing and they know their Bimmers

These guys are the best. Been coming here for years, and I've absolutely come to rely on and appreciate the care they put into servicing my car. My 2000 BMW M5 is getting a little long in the tooth, but it's my favorite inanimate thing on the planet. At this point, I wouldn't trust anyone else with it.
Recently, Mike and the folks at BTM helped me find a suspension setup that fit my budget and my needs. Really thorough! You can tell these guys are in the business because they love these cars. Truly an enthusiast's shop.

I contacted these guys 3 times over a two and a half week period for a minor job. They said that it was something they could easily do. Each time they took my name, phone number, and car model and said he'd get back to me later since he was sitting in front of a customer right now. He literally had the same response every time I called. It's as if he was reading off a cue card or something. No one ever called back. I ended up calling a local competitor who took my info, gave me a great quote, and scheduled me an appointment all in one call. You know... Like a normal professional.

I was looking for suspension for my W211 E320 and Mike was friendly on the phone and offered to help source some parts options for me. I had to follow up with him since he was busy. Finally we ordered H&R Sport Springs and Bilstein B8 shocks/struts which he stated should be a great combo and they called me with a tracking number which was great. When I pick up my car after the install, I noticed the rear end squatting down. Mike said the car was set so the frame is equal distance from the ground in the front and back and that the car drove great on the test drive after the alignment.

I took in an old 90s VW diesel that was in terrible shape. I called them up to do a litany of things, included diagnosing an engine sound. When they finished, I showed up and drove away.. and noticed the same sound there. I went back and drove around with Brad, and he heard the sound as well. It turns out there was a miscommunication in how I communicated what the problem was (I had the car towed in). The next day they had fixed the problem (which was probably another couple hours of labor) AND washed my car, all for no charge.

Should have posted this a while back! A week ago I found my front license plate to be dangling and as a new driver I really didn't know what to do. Reached out to BTM Motorwerks through the Q&A on G Maps and got a reply in minutes. Brad the owner so kindly took a look at the license plate and helped me fixed the issue within minutes under the sun. The folks at BTM Motorwerks installed a Rogue Engineering short shifter and I'm more than happy because they know what they're doing and it only took them half the day. When they gave me back the car, it had already been washed inside and out, something that I didn't ask for, but most definitely appreciated!
These folks keep real and will let you know upfront exactly what's going on with your car. I keep going back to them because I trust them and nothing has mysteriously broken.

Best auto mechanic shop ive ever been to. I have a 1999 BMW Z3 and they have taken care of my car for many years. Even helping me when they were just about to close. The shops managers are always polite and friendly and get to the task of fixing the car. They will charge fairly for work that is done. They will fix only items that need to be fixed instead of quoting items that can wait. Ive been very happy withhigh quality level they set at this shop.

If you own a German car this is the place to go they treat you very wellw. they don't oversell you and you can trust them.
I had a fuel pump go out in my 2014 BMW. Instead of fixing it and charging me. they let me know there was an additional 10 year extension on that item from BMW. So it was fixed for free by BMW.
That is something that is called integrity which is a hard thing to find these days from a repair shop. I recommend them to anyone
