I had lived there for almost 5 years. First I was in 2 Bed 2 Bath apartment and then moved to 1 bed 1 bath. Overall had good experience. Below are few aspects based on which I'd rate,
1. Location - 8/10 [walk-able distance to nearby stores]
2. Rent - 6/10 [Bit on the higher side for the amenities provided]
3. Apartment amenities - 5/10 [doesn't have washer/dryer in unit nor have balcony. Also appliances are old in some of the units]
4. Community Facilities - 5/10 [Small Gym at the basement with limited/basic equipment and no free weights, Swimming Pool is shared with neighboring community

VERY POOR MANAGEMENT. The rent is extremely inconsistent for new/future resident Vs existing resident. They don't value old resident, once you are in they don't care. Try to avoid if you are planning to stay longer in this society. They are too manipulative, and don't trust them.They fabricate new story every time. THINK TWICE BEFORE MOVING.

I lived at Stepny Place for 8 years. Overall it was a great experience. I moved into an apartment that had just been renovated so it was like moving into a brand new place. Over the 8 years management was always very helpful and was quick to respond to an email or a maintenance request. The location is great, close to everything!

Stayed her for only 6 Months and great thing here is I moved out one month early before my lease completes and as per policy I paid that month rent as well and the unexpected thing is they refunded back that full amount to me which never happened in any community. Really loved this place which is near to all the localities and good leasing staff members. If I move back to Connecticut anytime, this will be my first preference to move in again.

Very nice apartments and supportive leasing staff. Rent is average of the town and all the amenities are easily accessible. Good friendly environment for families and safe too . Never faced any issues here and very much accessible to stores like Walmart, Kohl's and Indian grocery store.
The only thing missing is kids play area but couple of parks are on mile away

Location, location, location. That's what it's all about, whether it be business or personal life. Well Stepny gets this right time and again. There's literally nothing you can't do here. An apartment complex that doubles as a venue for small businesses. An elevator lobby that doubles as a yoga studio. A party room that host parties that are double the fun as parties held elsewhere!
