I've been searching for a new apartment community and found Alterra. My current location is not luxurious and very noisy and Alterra is my saving grace! The apartments are new with beautiful stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops and washer/dryers included! I no longer have to go to a laundromat! The property is set back from the road and is nice and quiet. Very close to the highway which is convenient for my commute to Hartford, CT. The leasing staff really made me feel at home and at ease with the application and leasing signing process. I can't wait to move in, so glad I found Alterra

We just moved to Alterra in November and love the property!(especially that it is pet friendly!!) From the application to move in day, the office staff has been so great to work with. The apartment is clean and spacious! We can not wait for warmer weather to hang by the pool and fire pit! The maintenance helped immediately when needed! This is a great community to live in!

Although I ended up picking a different rental property due to my job location, I was thoroughly impressed with the ladies at the front office including Lynn, Heather and Aida. They followed up with me several times and were always helpful and pleasant over the phone. They obviously care about their residents, potential and current.

Amazing property! I came to tour here and am hoping to be able to live here when my lease is up. The grounds were beautiful, the apartments were so nice and looked very luxury. The office staff is amazing and made my tour experience so great. They explained everything really well and made me feel really comfortable (they wore masks which I appreciated). These apartments are beautiful, the staff is great, and they are pet friendly which was a little bit of a challenge to find. I can't wait to be a resident at Alterra!

I moved into this complex in June 2017 and while I had written a glowing review about property manager Peter Marinelli and his staff and the overall experience of living here, sadly things have changed.
Pete was suddenly dismissed and things have drastically changed and it just isn't the same. He worked tirelessly to make sure that EVERYTHING worked in the complex, he put in long hours and he had an amazing rapport with the residents.
You just have to read one of the other recent reviews to get an idea of what's going on now. Alterra has lost its HEART.
