We are your family friendly camping destination! Located on Packer Island, along the banks of the Susquehanna River, between Northumberland and Sunbury, Pennsylvania. We have approximately 100 sites. All of our sites have water, electric, and sewer hook-ups. Each has a poured concrete patio, and are 30 or 50 amp capable.
All of our transient sites have a fire ring and plastic picnic table. We also offer cable TV and free WiFi. At Fantasy Island Campground, we have a full range of activities for the entire family. They include special themed weekends, planned events, and live entertainment. Our heated, in-ground swimming pool is a great place to relax or play a round of golf on our 9-hole miniature golf course.

Fantasy Island Campground is family owned and operated. We are located on the island between Sunbury and Northumberland, where both the North and West branches of the Susquehanna River conjoin. This area of the river is referred to as Lake Augusta. The 3,000 acre lake is formed with the inflation of the Adam T. Bower Memorial Dam each summer.
Whether you've never been here before or are a seasoned member of the Fantasy Island family, we think you'll enjoy taking a look through some photos of the campground. Fantasy Island Campground offers a wide range of fun activities to make your camping experience complete. From ever popular events such as our annual Vintage Camper Rally weekend, to Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and Labor Day weekends which are packed with non-stop fun. There is always something for your entire family to enjoy.
Even if you don't have an RV but would still like to make family memories while experiencing the joys of camping, we have options just for you. You can rent one of our cabins or a camping trailer. They're already set up on site, just waiting for you to move in, unwind, and relax. Our cabins will let you and your family experience the joys of camping but with some of the comforts of home.

Very beautiful location.sites were level and ours had a nice concrete parking pad and patio. Staff was very friendly. They had very enjoyable activities planned for kids and adults. I loved the rec room with books provided and a large tv with DVDs you could rent. The bathhouse was very clean. Water was hot. The only cons are that the sites are tight with people behind you and on either side. The roads are narrow and was a little hard to back into site.the pool was small but the area was clean and the kids enjoyed it. We will definately return.
