Think of Snuba as a way to become a Scuba diver for the day! With no certification or experience, within minutes you will be exploring Maui's wonderful reefs on a 30 to 40-minute private guided underwater reef tour with only your friends and family. You also will not be wearing any heavy bulky Scuba equipment.
It's not uncommon for us to encounter many people who aren't quite sure what we do at Shoreline Snuba Maui. Is it snorkeling? Is it SCUBA? In short: it's both! SNUBA in Maui is an incredible, immersive experience that marries together the freedom of snorkeling with the dive aspect of SCUBA. The really wonderful thing about SNUBA is that everyone can participate because of the nature of our private dives.

My husband and I went Snuba diving with Brian on our honeymoon in November in Ka'anapali. We were amazed that it was just the two of us! Brian was an incredibly experienced guide with a fun and calming presence. He really took the time to make sure we understood all of the instructions and felt 100% comfortable every step of the way. Diving at Airport Beach was a magical experience and we would definitely recommend Shoreline Snuba to anyone!

Brian and Drew were amazing! They made us feel very comfortable (even those of us who were very nervous) and were attentive to us during our whole excursion. Drew’s foresight to provide prescription goggles made it easy for everyone to see the marine life and the wetsuits kept us warm in the cool water. We saw beautiful fish and an eel and Brian took lots of photos. Can’t recommend them enough!

We had a lot of fun on our SNUBA trip! Brian and Drew are warm and friendly and gave thorough, clear instructions that put us at ease before going into the water. We saw lots of fish and a rare turtle. SNUBA is a great fit for our family since we have kids who aren’t scuba certified and another who gets motion sick and wants to avoid boats. We highly recommend Shoreline Snuba Maui!

Shoreline Snuba was the best Maui experience we had for both bang for our buck and so many unexpected surprises. Our guide Drew was so fun and easy to get along with… he even remembered taking our niece and nephew from 3 years ago. He gave us so many tips to really enjoy our time. And he took so many pictures of our family under water (those alone would have been worth the price). We swam over the reef outside of the Westin Timeshare Resort and had the same experience as those who paid so much more for scuba. And we went from the parking lot to underwater in like 20 minutes with so little effort

This was one of the best excursions we have done in many years of travel to Maui. Drew was an excellent guide and made our son ( who had only snorkeled once ) extremely comfortable. The fact that we also got to SNUBA as a private group was a huge plus. We got to go at a pace that was comfortable for us. I would recommend this activity to anyone, even those with little or no experience in the water. We will definitely be back the next time we are here. We had a great time, thanks Drew!

After a week in Maui this Snuba dive was by far the highlight of our honeymoon. With no previous experience, it was easy to learn and comfortable the whole time! We saw a turtle, an octopus, an eel and so much other beautiful marine life. Our instructor Drew made sure we had the best time and it was truly nothing short of magic! 10/10 🤙🏼

My son and I went to snorkeling earlier during the week near Molokini crater and it was a nightmare. I told myself there should be a better way to do this. I Googled and found "Shoreline snuba". I called Drew and asked if he could help us after having a bad experience. He said it's a private guided tour. I booked my appointment and I made the right choice. Today we had an amazing experience. I would like to thank Brain for making it happen. Little about me... I am a non swimmer and my son can swim inside a swimming pool comfortably. Never I have swam before underwater in my lifetime

Our family of 5 (3 teenagers) had the best time with our instructor, Brian. He talked us through his he whole process and showed us some amazing things in the water. We saw some beautiful fish, sea urchins, and even an eel! We love to scuba but this was so much better! I definitely recommend this activity and Brian as an instructor!

Me and my friends were hesitant to try snuba but after participating I would 100% recommend it! It was so amazing to be able to get closer to the reefs see everything up close. As someone who's never scuba dived before, I was nervous I couldn't get the hang of it, but after a few minutes in the water it felt so natural. This is a good intermediate step between snorkeling and scuba diving and a great way to explore deeper into the reefs and see more fish you wouldn't from just snorkeling.

This was easily the highlight of our vacation in Maui!! Leading up to our snuba excursion, we received up to date emails and texts regarding our appointment. Then on the day of snuba, we met up with our instructor Drew right next to our resort. If you are lucky enough to get Drew as your instructor you will not be disappointed!! He was extremely professional, but also made us feel at ease with our first time trying snuba, giving us directions, pointing out eels and sights, and taking pics of us during our time underwater.
Shoreline is a definite recommend if you are looking for once in a lifetime

Spent an entire week in Maui, day 5 we tried snuba. We live in New Mexico, so it's a little hard to swim in an ocean being desert locked. However Brian was our guide, man he was great. Before we started he discussed what to expect, how we were going to take our time and do things at our own pace. We sat down and explained the ins and out's of snuba. (Snuba is a hybrid of snorkeling and scuba diving)
Finally we were feeling confident and ready to enjoy snuba. Brian was very observant asking us questions and checking up on all 3 of us. Once we were in the water, and once I can calm myself

You must Snuba!!!! It was Ana amazing experience that I will never forget. The company is so laid back and easy to do business with. No bait and switch, no time-share crap... no nonsense. We had Brian as our guide and this guy is the real deal. We felt so comfortable and so relaxed!
I would highly recommend this if you ever make it out to Maui if you want a true Hawaiian paradise experience.

First time in Maui for my 50th birthday (yep 50th). I want to start another decade with a bang! What more than start on a few things that are on my list. I took the family out to Maui. None of us except my wife had been there before. Top on the list of course was to share an unforgettable experience with the family. Years ago I wanted to be SCUBA certified and dive in Hawai'i.However I never got the chance. My family aren't great swimmers so the closest I can do to share this experience with them was to try SNUBA. I didn't know how it's going to be like for the rest of them

As an advanced open water diver the concept of Snuba seemed like something I would hate, never less the other half isn't a diver and has never had any sort of experience with breathing underwater so Snuba was the only choice.
Kaitlin B made us feel right at home, and even when my partner had some anxiety she was caring and took her time to make sure we where both comfortable.
It's tourist guides like Kaitlin that makes me highly recommend this company and tour. The whole experience was amazing and I can't thank her enough for her patience with both of us. Good stuff :)

Summary: Very similar to PADI dive, but with much less gear, a 20 foot limit, and no pre-training required. Tim is a great guide. Find him BEHIND the activity shack at the far end of Sheraton beach, closest to the Black Rock cliffs where people jump off into the water. You'll have a blast.
