We enjoyed the excellent hospitality and customer service which seemed above and beyond the price point. The staff was incredibly courteous, professional and accommodating. In terms of amenities, it has a nice bar area with with drinks and food. Quality fitness room and very nicely updated room and bathroom. I would stay here again!

Let me begin by saying that this hotel does not exude luxury anything. We have stayed at 5 star hotels and this hotel does not live up to hype.and to top it off we paid over $500/night!! I regret not booking another hotel that actually makes you feel welcome. Their website portrays rooms with some kind of imaginary river/lake which is nonexistent and our room was overlooking beautiful concrete jungle of buildings. As soon as we entered I wanted to make a cup of coffee and the coffee machine was not working had to call the chatty maintenance guy that had difficult time leaving our room. The hotel

The Tennessean is a beautiful hotel. The rooms are a nice size. Customer service great. They have a car service that will take you within 3 miles. You can walk to a lot of the restaurants from the hotel within 10 mins. I would love to come back. They also offer turn down service. Valet parking is $27 a night. They offer a free internet service and a premium one which is $10.00 for 24 hours. The rooms were clean a big plus.

This place is know better then a motel 6,terrible service at the front desk disingenuous Greetings. I've worked hospitality for 18yrs in several different aspects. Valet personal was not valet! Room was dusty. Nothing real great about this place. 4 hotel personal in lobby but No one providing 4 diamond service. Save your money and go somewhere else!

VERY FANCY! ALMOST TOO FANCY? I was working at the Knoxville Convention center across the street standing just outside waiting for my ride. I walked directly to The Tennessean and was surprised to be followed to the bathroom. Was I not dressed RICH enough? Did I look like I did not belong there? Could they be profiling? I guess I wasn't dressed FANCY!🙂 All in all the place was clean. Employees did not speak. So it was a win-win potty visit.

This hotel was a dream come true! First..it is literally 1 minute off the highway and super easy to get to. The valet was immediately available (and we got there at 9 pm!) The front desk concierge was exceedingly personable and efficient. He was a joy to talk to. The room was exceptional and pristine. Details such as brass moldings and a loofa sponge in the bathroom were just a few special touches. The modern decor of the room was just beautiful. The valet cabinet lit up when you opened the doors and inside were 2 terry cloth lined, heavy robes. (Not to mention the slippers too!) The bath products

Pros: The staff was friendly and the room was very clean. The location in Knoxville was great.
Cons: A bathtub would have been nice. The room was a bit small. It was difficult to move around. The refrigerator didn’t get cold. When I asked the concierge about a pool, he told us no and we opted to go for a walk. That’s when we found the splash pad. I wish he would have told us about the nearby splash pad so we could have been dressed appropriately. I asked for extra towels when we booked, but they weren’t in the room. The Tennessean is a lovely hotel complete with Valet, Bellman, and Concierge. The front desk staff were very professional and accommodating. We were offered cold water or soft drinks when we arrived and as we departed. The Drawing Room is cozy with a great atmosphere. The Dinner Menu has nice offerings and the food is delicious!!
