My name is Paul Bailey - owner and operator of Napa Valley Wine Excursions. I will be your single point of contact when booking your tour, planning your itinerary, and making arrangements for your visit. I was raised in the town of Napa, and after completing my undergraduate degree at the University of California at San Diego, I returned to the Napa Valley with a completely fresh perspective of what Wine Country has to offer.
After gaining valuable experience in various aspects of the wine industry, I quickly realized my love of sharing the beauty of the Napa Valley with others. For nearly fifteen years, I have enjoyed conducting winery tours for thousands of visitors from around the world. I have been able to meet some of the most wonderful people and every day I'm grateful to return home to an amazing wife and six beautiful children.

We will escort you throughout Wine Country in one of our fully-equipped Chevrolet Suburbans with comfortable leather seating for up to seven passengers. For larger groups, please inquire about our Transit van, which can very comfortably accommodate bigger parties. Your transportation amenities include bottled water, a premium audio system, WiFi hotspot, and a temperature-controlled space for storing your purchased wine throughout your tour.

Not only did Paul set up our entire itinerary based on our group's taste preferences, but he was also extremely accommodating when we decided to add a few tastings on or needed to adjust timing.He was incredibly professional and his extra hands were helpful with all our purchases! Paul was also very informative of the areas we visited as well as providing us with tricks and tips of the trade.

Paul provided us with an amazing wine experience! He planned an absolutely perfect day that we would not have been able to create ourselves. He tailored the trip to our preferences and provided us with a variety of producers, wines, and locations. He got us into places that had spectacular views, great wines that you would not find at home, tastings with future wine making superstars, and tastings with owners that had us eating grapes off the vines. Our driver John was so much fun and knowledgeable.

"This was our first time in Napa. Hiring Paul Bailey is definitely the right choice. We even had an itinerary planned but what makes them great is they help fill in any gaps you may need and keeps track of everything for you. They found us lunch places which we would never have found. They called ahead to our next reservations and made any adjustments. They made our experience carefree!!
Aside from that, Paul and our other driver Jacob were extraordinary. They are very personable and entertaining! We wish we were able to spend more time with them. We felt we did it right.

Every time we've been to Napa we've always done tours with Paul and his crew of Napa Valley Wine Excursione, (and there were many!) and LOVED every moment of all the tours!!!!! Such a knowledgeable and personable crew with the best service and FUN!! we wouldn't do Napa any other way. I honestly don't think Napa would be the same without Paul and his guys! Thank you for making every single one of our trips memorable!

Napa Valley Wine Excursions is the ONLY tour company I will ever use again. Our family had an amazing experience with the tour, the wineries, the service. Paul and team are exceptional guides and curators, they know Napa backwards and forwards. They open up their carefully crafted inside network of both boutique craft and famous wineries to their guests. This is a great way to learn about wine and Napa, and oh yeah... have a lot of fun being delivered to location after location.

We have used Napa Valley Wine Excursions twice now (found them in 2015, and returned a second time Apr 2018) and both times they have exceeded our expectations! Paul is phenomenal and very knowledgeable, has great recommendations. I would highly recommend to anyone and everyone, they will make sure you're very well taken care of!

Not just a tour; it's an experience!! We started planning months in advance, and Paul was very accommodating and attentive to our preferences. We had some reservations of our own, and Paul filled all the gaps with absolute gems. Rolling around the valley in his vehicle makes you feel like you're a VIP. His lifelong relationships with seemingly everyone gave us a unique opportunity to get a behind the scenes perspective and intimate appreciation of Napa. If we ran late, he called ahead to coordinate; if we were hungry, he had something up his sleeve; if we needed paparazzi or water, he was there

Paul is know doubt the best tour guide that we have ever had. From the time I talked to him on the phone to when he dropped us off after four amazing wine tours. We asked Paul to put together a tour for our group of 8 over Thanksgiving week. He was very knowledgeable about wine, the area, wine making, etc. and we learned a lot. Each winery we went to was places we would of never been able to go on our own and they were all perfect in there own way. He brought us to a local deli for lunch and we really got to enjoy the feeling as being one of the locals while eating great food. Paul clearly planned

I was responsible for coordinating a trip of 6-8 people to Napa Valley this past November, and I got set up with Paul through a mutual friend, winemaker Grant Long, of Aonair Wines. I've done multiple trips over the years to Napa, and without a doubt, Paul was the best guide and navigator I have ever experienced out there.
