Excellent food and service. Had the chicken marsala and it was the best I ever had. Everyone with thought their meals were excellent as well. Will definitely go there again.

Some PYC members are not nice neighbors. They covered my car in grass clippings, did not clean it off, and told me not to park on the street in front of their club. Bullying is not acceptable.

Nice place with good views. You can have an event here like a birthday party or something to that effect but do it in the spring to fall or you'll have to deal with boats all over the place being stored for winter. Parking is a little rough but there is a parking lot on the side.

Excellent dining. Good prices. Private club with restaurant open to the public. Open Thursday through Sunday. BYOB. Casual, down-to-earth, waterfront dining. Dining room and large patio.

Great marina nestled up the Housatonic River. A staff member gave us a courtesy ride to town, the facility was clean, and modern, everyone was warm and welcoming during our stay, and the gear shop is well stocked.

I wouldn't recommend this restaurant at Pootatuck Yacht Club. Considering it is closed for business. To bad, I was looking forward to checking it out. Apparently they might open again once they find a chef. LOL

I joined this year after many years of our family being members of the New York Athletic Club, the Waterbury Club & the Winged Foot Golf Club. I love this place & I am having more fun here every week. The parties here are amazing. The second floor has a full member lounge with a TV & stereo & fire place. The third floor has a full party room that can be rented by members & non-members.
The views from all three floors are as nice as anyplace in the area. ….. What a great club to be a member of. Many of the members will do anything to help you enjoy yourself at the club.

Benny's Restaurant at the Pootatuck Yacht Club is a secret treasure in Stratford, and you might just have to buy a member dinner, just to get in! It's BYOB and the food is quite good. The steaks, the veal dishes and fish dishes are all highly recommended. The fried calamari with hot peppers and Gorgonzola is a favorite. The river view is a great plus.

OK, this one is Stratford's best kept secret. Pootatuck Yacht Club allows non-members to come in for dinner and lunch Thurs-Sun. You can pay with a credit card and you can bring your own booze! This is easily the best high end food in Stratford, replacing Biaggio as my former favorite. The chef, Benny Mujollari has incredible talent and the wait staff is excellent.
