Milford Yacht Club maintains the charm of an old fashioned boating club while providing modern amenities such as a full service restaurant, swimming pool and marina. Members and their guests enjoy coming in from a day of yachting, then cooling off in the pool before relaxing on the deck with drinks before dinner. Often the clubhouse is jumping with the excitement of a weekend regatta or grooving to the live music on a Sunday afternoon.
Services
The Milford Yacht Club facility: located about 5 minutes off I-95 on the west side of Milford Harbor. While towing any boat over 8' tall, there are ONLY two ways to MYC (like an Etchells), any other route will lead to your mast becoming part of a railroad bridge! At the MYC you will find two hoists that can lift 4,000 lbs., one hoist that can lift 1,500 lbs.
The Milford Yacht Club (MYC) is located at 131 Trumbull Ave in Milford, CT and is a non-profit organization devoted to promoting interest in yachting and related social activities. It is dependent for its well-being and successful operation on the support and cooperation of its members and their guests.

The dock hands (including Matt) are wonderful. The bathrooms are very clean. The pool is very nice with pleasant lifeguards. The outdoor seating at the restaurant has a spectacular view of the harbor entrance & the LI Sound. The waitstaff are very polite.
If you're planning an overnight stay, do not bring food to BBQ as grilling on the property is not permitted. Overall a beautiful visit. Looking forward to another.

Food took 2 hours to come (for a scheduled seating) and when it did the food was just bad. Beef was alternately undercooked and burnt. The fish was too salty to eat. Just a very bad experience. Picture is the fish in the garbage, where it belonged.
Update: the dog got the leftover beef. She was disapointed, too.

A wonderful place to have special events and dinner. Went to a great birthday party and had some GREAT FOOD. You cannot beat the view. Your right on the mouth of the river and harbor. The personnel were very pleasant and on the ball! The structure inside and out is well kept. The club can be proud of their spotless grounds. Also plenty of parking.
