We applied to this apartment and we talked to a lady named Gaby. She was nice but she didn't make it clear to us, that when we payed $100 holding fee, the 72 hours would start right when we applied. She made us believe that the 72 hours would start after we got accepted. They made the application process longer for us, giving us more and more paper work, making excuses that they weren't working, so they can prolong the application process, so they can take the $100. They could've at least noticed us when the 72 hours would start. She would not give us our money back even with the misunderstanding

I love my apartment at Serrano Highlands! Terri Fields in the office is always a pleasure to talk to and very professional. The maintenance is always very friendly and they are very quick to fix any issues. I highly recommend checking this place out if u are searching for a new place.

It would be nice if the hot tub actually worked. It has been at least a month since it has gone cold and this is truly the only amenity. It makes me wonder who has been cleaning the pool & hot tub, if they haven't even noticed it is not working.

I lived at Serrano Highlands South for ten months.
I'll start with the good:
-the parking situation is excellent. I never had to park far from my apartment, and usually right outside my door, and guest parking was available on the street.
-the unit had great sized bedrooms and bathrooms.
-the in unit laundry was convenient.
-no bugs!
-the neighborhood was quiet and totally safe
-near two nice parks
The bad:
-they are deluded into calling themselves luxury apartment homes
-they kicked my roommate and I out to "renovate" with a 3 sentence letter. Upon speaking with a neighbor who moved

We were given the bait and switch! We were shown a beautiful corner apartment. I noticed a problem with the address after we put down a deposit, had our credit checked and got approved. When I asked if the address was wrong on the initial agreement, I was told oops we accidentally showed you the wrong apartment, quoted you the wrong deposit, and were never told that our dog had to be locked up inside when we are at work, even though there is a yard. We gave notice to our other residence. We will have either no choice but to sign a year lease for an apartment we hate or be homeless.

The maintenance team has been very prompt and courteous
The management team has been very professional in addressing any problems brought to their attention
This is the first time I have lived in an apartment and I like having the buildings and grounds kept looking nice in spite of the beautiful messy trees.

Thank you Terry, you were very helpful, I really appreciate your help, Also every month or every other month they have food truck, like Tacos, Ice cream, Coffee from Starbucks, or other type of activities, huge parking lot, with good space between cars, clean and calm environment.

When we moved in it was great and we dealt with quality management. Over the past year and a half it has degraded as well as the quality of the people moving in. It's turning into a party zone with loud people, motorcycles and music. And don't bother to park your car here, even if you're a resident if you forget to put your pass in the window they will TOW YOU. It just happened to me. Best advice I can give is walk around here at all times of day and night and talk to the residents yourself to see if the expensive rent is worth it.
