After living here from 8/2018 to 12/2020 I have to say that they are still 5 stars. We wouldn't have moved but we had long term plans and are now located in Santa Fe, NM. The move out process was smooth, and it was the first time in my life that we got money back on an apartment deposit (we did clean the place very well before leaving). So if you are considering a move, consider Spring Lakes! I've had nothing but great experiences over and over with all the staff.

Just want to let anyone who considering this community know that if you choose an apartment on the second floor above garages. You will not be allowed to clean any dust, ash from fires, dust from the pine trees! I'm am highly allergic of!
I have lived in this community for more than 6 years & after a year in this unit I would not have renewed my lease at the end of October if this information came to me prior, 5 years in a previous apt on site. I just moved in here like a month ago. Let me tell you this, this place is awesome! Not only the place is nice and safe but the neighbors are very nice and friendly too. I'd like to give a shout out to the community manager who helped me processed all the documents Ms. Heather Castruita. She's the most wonderful and very reliable person I ever met in my entire search of apartments. She sincerely welcome clients with a positive attitude. We have been living here for two years, for some reason, we decided to move from this apartment. Eventually, we just switched to bigger space and the only reason was MANAGER.
Heather is professional and kind. she helps us to find our proper suite, There was no limit to her patience.
If you are going to move this apartment , just find her and ask her for services.

My husband and I live at Spring Lake Apartments. We both agree that we love living here and the management is terrific!Heather Castruita is Awesome! She has great people skills and always follows up when you have an issue and the maintenance team always responds in a timely manner even when you have an emergency. I can't say enough about Heather, The Staff, and the whole Maintenance Team at Spring Lake Apartments. Keep up the good work!!!

I want to start by saying this is the cleanest apartment complex I've lived in and visited. The staff here is AMAZING. They care for you as if you were a member of their own family. Always a hello and how you doing. Now the absolute best part of living here, in my option is the office manger. Heather has been the best. The only time I've had a better manager was.... um never. She she gone WAY above and beyond to help us get in and settled. She is so caring and a joy to talk with. A no worries everythins is gonna be alright kind of attitude. Avoid this place at all cost, unless you like having your packages stolen, rude management, and freaks going through your laundry in the dryer and steal your nice clothes! This is a place for criminals and psychos who you don't want to be surrounded by. Parking in the evening is a nightmare. My family feels unsafe living here, especially when we're expecting a baby, but our lease doesn't end in a few months, and the lease break fee is a hefty $3000. The office manager and even the maintenance people are jerks too.

Heather, the property manager, was extremely kind & understanding. She definitely went out of her way to help my husband & I during the leasing process. Very thorough, made sure everything was in order, working properly, & clean before we moved in. It's a very quiet, peaceful community. Very spacious units, but also feels very homey. I have raved to my friends and family about what a great place this is. We got a welcome home card personally filled out by Heather in our door a couple days after move in too. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good apartment. Two thumbs up!

Heather was super personable and nice; me and my girlfriend are first time movers and she made us feel welcomed and comfortable; even though there's only one assigned parking spot, there's always extra parking available in the complex. It's a very quiet and peaceful community, and the price is fair for the area. P.S. the apartments are being renovated and look way nicer in person!

Updating my review after moving out:
I'd have given this place 0 star if that was an option. The management and even the maintenance people are the rudest people I've ever met in my entire life! They're either never in their office or being super unhelpful and don't welcome any request. There're also thieves living at this property. I've had my packages and laundry stolen a few times. When I moved out, I ordered professional cleaning service to make sure everything looked good, but was still charged hundreds of dollars extra because they want to replace the carpet

I would not recommend. My experience at this apartment complex consisted of a tow truck driving through the complex every night, police constantly on the property, teenagers drinking in their cars, throwing bottles on the ground and my car being broken into.
Scheduling maintenance was a battle due to them either showing up at the wrong time or not showing up at all.
Moving out was uncomfortable. First they said a notice of vacancy would arrive at our door, later they said that never happens. It took 5 attempts of contact to get answers on how we go about the process of moving out.

Heather, the apartment manager made re signing my lease the easiest thing possible. Spring lakes has been great, it's in my price range, they worked with iffy credit, and it's right down the street from work. Can't complain.
The office staff handles any issues quickly and goes out of their way to make sure you have a good stay whether it's beginning, end, or renewal time.

This is my nightmare experience. I have never encountered such a bad Office manager. Two month ago I went to office to tell the specialist I will completely move out. She didn’t tell me I have to sign something. End of the day I moved out of this place. They charged one more month fee. My wife was trying to help me to explain the situation. The office manager yelling at her and my daughter, ask them leave the office. I will ask my lawyer to give her a letter. How come this company can keep this rude office manager.

I don't know where to start with this community! I recently moved out and into a more expensive community, but the extra spending is worth a better community! For starters, the office hours are posted 9am-6pm, there was a few times I would go between 5:30 and 6pm to put money on my laundry card, but the office staff would already be gone. After saying that, it is ridiculous that the only place to add money to your laundry card is in the office and not the actual laundry room which stays open till 10pm and is not 24 hours, so anyone who works and has other errands to run on a daily basis, good luck

Common areas sometimes not really clean, parking problems all the time, rent to high for what they offer (570 sf for over 1600) One time they wanted to check a problem with the bathroom, they just knock the door ones, next thing I knew, they where inside my apartment giving us no time to stand up from bed and dress up. The gym area is tiny no ventilation and smells really bad.

Well, This sums this place right up! I must say, this place is first place on my list of terrible places to live. I am not even going to get into the major complaints i had to report to this place. This post ill just review the gross incompetence! Take heed, pass this place UP. Its not worth it. Its almost comical how this place operates, but not really because i have to live here! Ok so i live in a one bedroom. Nothing is updated probably since the early 90s

We are neighbors to this complex, and if I could give negative stars, I would. Calls to the courtesy staff to address nuisance barking of a dog have gone unreturned, for 5 days in a row now. I feel bad for the neighbors of the resident with the dog, if this is how the management treats residents, let alone how they treat those who live nearby. Even a phone call to let us know that they wouldn't address the issue would be appreciated. We've even met with the assistant manager in person, to no avail. A dog barking on a patio incessantly, starting as early as 5:40 am, is not going to be

My mother and I have lived here for about three years now, and I figured it was about time to write a review. I'll separate it into pros and cons.
Pros:
-Maintenance is great. Very fast, very friendly. On some occasions, maintenance has come from their own home to help us fix an inconvenience, not an emergency, which is great service to me.
-Pretty clean, friendly complex.
-Relatively quiet, other than children making noise occasionally. Never really a disturbance.
Con (minor):
-Parking is impacted. If you get home past ~7 or 8pm, you'll be lucky to find a spot near your apartment.

Since last 1.5 months I am living here. I really liked this community. Neighbors are very nice. View from apt units is also cool.
The management is very good. Keeps the community clean and safe, comes for maintenance at prompt whenever required. I moved from Siena Terrace Apartments to here as they have increased the rates. The rates here affordable.
I liked most of the things in Spring Lake, so giving 5 stars. Mark and Jenifer both are handing the community in great way. I'm enjoying my stay here.
