In eight years of teaching science, Malka Akerman has developed an approach to teaching science that empowers her students to think critically and independently, to understand and enhance the relationship between torah and science, and to become educated science consumers ready to interact with and make choices about the world around them.
Shulamith HS for Girls is seeking a part time and/or full time teachers in the above subjects for the 2021-2022 school year. Committed to educating every girl from head to heart, Shulamith High School inspires every student to become her best self. The school culture is fun, creative, collaborative, innovative and professional.
The application will require 6th and 7th grade report cards as well as any standardized test scores taken in the last two years. You cannot submit the application without these documents. An amazing school, with excellent Limudei Kodesh b'ivtit and and excellent Secular Department - also teaches love of Israel from day one in the school. I am a very proud former student, mother, grandmother etc. of Shulamith studnets! We are very proud of all of our accomplishments! Very happy that Shulamith has continued it's good work in Long Island!
