I swear the management is shady and rude and Bias against class in people they destroy my name and credit and lied I curse them all I hope they feel the same pain and struggle they put me through I curse them with the hardship and every lie they have told to destroy my life and the others they put out I curse them that it all comes back on them I curse the money you took from me turns what ever you put it too turns into ash. I was upfront about my credit issues she said it would be no issue as long as i didn’t owe another complex . Paid the 175 only to be told i need a co-signer which I’ve never heard of when renting an apartment. So if your credit is not perfect regardless if your rental history is good do not apply save you time and money. I did contact corporate and they are giving me back the $75 as well so I’m thankful for that ! I guess working for the government gives me some kind of authority!

customer service and Professionalism displayed even from the first "hello" on the telephone. In particular, Nikita is truly a difference maker, her expertise, knowledge base and people skills are bar-none. She is a Great example for others. I have always been told that actions speak louder than words, well her actions are telling an incredible story. I am not sure who is on the panel for hiring, but you all need to be commended for such an outstanding selection process

This place was suggested to me by a friend who used to live there. When I walked in I was greeted by Yesenia, who helped me immensely from start to finish. She called and emailed to make sure everything that I needed was turned in. Even after moving in, she's always just as friendly as she was before. She's always helpful no matter what I needed. The grounds of the apartments are very well maintained. It's quiet so far. I just moved in so far so good. Nikita was awesome! I needed to move rather quickly and she made that happen. She was quick to respond if I needed something. She was very kind and willing to help. Couldn't have asked for a better Leasing Consultant.

This review concerns my experience with the preleasing process, as I have yet to move in. I often don't write Yelp reviews, but I felt compelled to do so because my experience was not at all what other Yelpers have described. I met with Nikita today in person for a tour after speaking with her on the phone. She was courteous, knowledgeable, and honest. I toured several other potential complexes today in the Duncanville/Redbird/Desoto area, and this one stood out the most. Prices are reasonable, units are fairly standardized, and the one-bedroom options I toured were spacious and well-arranged

I have lived here for two months and I'm loving it! My apartment is very quiet and beautiful! The maintenance staff are very helpful,timely, and friendly. Nikita and everyone in the office are extremely helpful and friendly. Nikita went above and beyond when helping me to move in. I am grateful for such a pleasant experience!

I needed a fast move for a job transfer from Philly to Dallas. I chose Mount Vernon based off the reviews and distance from my job. I applied and was approved without even seeing the apartment. Nikita was very good in keeping contact via email or phone with any additional information that was needed to finalize the lease. When I arrived in Dallas almost 2 weeks later I came to Mount Vernon to view to property and apartment. Nikita greeted me with a smile and took me on a tour. I viewed the model I chose but was not happy with the size and layout. I thought why did I get into something without seeing

My impression of Nikita is that she goes beyond the call of duty. I appreciate her efforts to make this moving experience as comfortable as possible. I personally had some issues that delayed my move, but she handled EVERYTHING professionally. I would like to thank her for the consideration and kindness.

Lived here for 7 years so far, clean grounds and always helpful office and. Main staff . Apartments are fairly older but recently renovated. Parking is getting more and more congested for some reason,not sure if people are just buying more cars or families are doubling up in apartments

After renting a local home for the last 15 months, my business partner and I were looking for a change to a local apartment complex. The apartment shown was nice but they were inflexible on the move in date. Although that should have been an indicator, we accepted the early move in requirement and moved on to doing the online application. Now it gets fun. Here's some perspective, both my business partner and I own $500k+ homes out of the area (we commute to our business here in Dallas each week). I've been here over 8 years. I hate moving. There are better places to live I'm sure...BUT there absolutely are worse places too. The staff is friendly and helpful, which is very important to me. Some years ago, they had a lot of office staff turn-over, so the service suffered. It's cool now. The majority of the units are older, so you have to deal with things that are typical for older apartments (slow draining tubs, etc.). Overall...it's a decent living experience comparatively speaking.

Please do not be taken back from the one and only review for this community. I came here just this past August and was warmly greeted by Nikita and she was more then helpful. The community is well kept and for the most part fairly quiet, which made me pleasantly surprised. The rent rates are more then fair especially considering what your getting. Rebecca the office manager has helped me when my go to Nikita isn't available and she is very helpful as well with a great sense of humor. The ladies in the office are amazing. They have many different layouts for their 1-3 bedroom units depending

On Wednesday, 06/15/16, I came home to a notice on my door exposing my personal information which included how much I owed the complex. The paper was not folded. I send an email immediately to the apartment complex. I then contacted the corporate office on Friday 06/17/16 because I had not received a response from the complex. I received a call from the property manager, Debra, on Monday, June 20, 2016. She said it their policy not to "fold" a notice that is left on a resident's door. When I first moved here there was no reserved parking. Apparently there is now. There was no announcement that it was available or how to get a spot. So when I parked my car at 11pm after work I didn't see the reserved paint on the ground. Got towed. This is just one of the many things they won't tell you. The online process is worthless because you'll have to do it all on paper anyway and make sure you ask about ALL of the paper work and fees because they'll skip over that too. Renovations are spotty. There are clumps of nails sticking out of the wood on the patio.

I went to view an apartment today and I have never felt so unwelcomed in my life. I barely got a hello. The girl who I worked with, Courtney I believe is her name, was rude and so unhelpful. She pretty much just handed me a brochure and continued to clack at her computer. She then showed me an apartment and said NOTHING. Pretty much just opened the door to the apartment and I walked around while she stood at the door. She didn't say anything about amenities, the new renovations, how long the property had been there, nothing. I was so fed up I just got my ID and left. Luckily I have a friend
