Multiple Nerve Block injections are performed for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes in chronic pain management. Diagnostic to isolate the nerve root involved in the transmission of pain signals. If pain subsides after the nerve block, it will help the pain physician to formulate further treatment recommendations like rhizotomy.
The disc is a unique structure between the vertebral column that bears the weight and allows the movement of spine. It is made of the nucleus in the middle and fibrous tissue surrounding it. The outer layer of annulus may crack (usually annular tear or fissure) under pressure or normal wear-and-tear.
A sympathetic nerve block is believed by many pain health care providers to be an effective method for controlling chronic pain. However, there is not a great deal of medical evidence to show whether these blocks are actually helpful.
This therapy targets the sympathetic nervous system, a series of nerves that spread out from your spine to your body to help control several involuntary body functions, or body functions that you have no control over. These include blood flow, digestion, and sweating. A sympathetic nerve block can be used to diagnose or treat pain involving the nerves of the sympathetic nervous system.

Recent advancements in technology and physiological research have helped to create neurostimulators for pain control. When these devices are used properly, they can be beneficial to the society and can provide outstanding clinical and economical benefits. Neurostimulation is like a small TENS unit implanted on the spinal cord or peripheral nerve.

My daughter was so disgusted with this place that she did not want to take the time to write a review, so I am writing one on her behalf. She is an Air Force veteran who was initially a patient at this clinic in 2015. She needed to schedule an appointment to have her device replaced and these people gave her the runaround, not to mention, they were rude. Every person she dealt with (office staff) was rude, obnoxious and uncaring. It's sad that they treat people this way, especially veterans who have already been through so much. This place should be shut down permanently. I watched my daughter

Dr.Tariq is a terrible Dr that doesn't care about or for his patients. Do not go to Dr Tariq unless you want your stress level to go higher when he refuses to help patients in need. Save yourself the time and find a better pain Dr if you go to him things can go south for you and he could care less he's not in it to help people

I was disappointed in their response time. I had to wait 2.5 days for the doctor to get back with me the after the first time (of only 15 minutes in with the doctor) to adjust my medicine after my first visit because he only gave me two tablets in a 24 hour period. My other doctor said you can have 4 and the medicine would wear off after 8 hours. On my second visited the doctor asked me why I wasn’t better yet then asked me what I had surgery on. I was surprised he didn’t know with all the information that was sent over. After having PT last Wednesday I called because my shoulder was popping

I've had 5-major back surgeries (including rods & screws, fusions) TENS unit implant (not effective-removed), morphine pump implant (partial relief), numerous scar tissue removal surgeries & injections. I've seen approximately 20-different Neurosurgeons and pain management Dr.'s. The reason for so many is they did all they could and I still hadn't achieved any significant relief. I finally found Dr. Tariq - THANK GOD !!! He has given me my life back through his knowledge and care. He's unlike most Dr.'s because he dedicates himself to finding what will give his patient the relief they are seeking
