I booked this hotel online and as my first couple hrs the owners called saying I'm not allowed to have visitors however was not on the policy I only had 3 people Over & they werent going to spend the night bc I know I only reserved it for 2 people..THE SHOWER had no shampoo conditioner nor body soap provided and I come a long way from home!!! The owners want to complain about noise level when it's almost NOON during day time and it's from playing music while in the shower 0/10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO STAY AT THIS HOTEL.

Disgusting hotel never ever come here!! And if you do MAKE SURE YOU CHECK UNDER THE MATTRESS. I drove out here with my fiancé from Arizona and after a long 6 hour drive you would expect it to be clean but no we had empty alcohol bottles under the mattress they gave us another room after the front lady saw that and then we decided to check that new rooms mattress and found these dirty towels under the mattress. We went back to the front lady and she told us to get out and leave! Like?? How are you about to tell us to get out and leave when you can't clean your own bedrooms. I'm disgusted

The worst customer service I’ve ever experienced in my life!!! Do yourself a favor and walk away! I had booked two nights (mind you I’m eight month pregnant) my flight was delayed, when I showed up to get my room she said I was too late, even though the place was empty, I paid 230.00 in advance, I didn’t even care about the money, I just needed a safe place! She didn’t even offer me a solution, like…I’m sorry, give us a minute, or come back…nope! She just through me out! I’ve NEVER BEEN TREATED SO BADLY IN ALL MY LIFE. Overall, my boyfriend and I had a great time here! We stayed in the Romantic Suite and it really was the most romantic place. The hot tub and rainfall shower were amazing - especially for the price! The only thing we didn't love was the bed. There were only 2 sheets and one relatively thin blanket, so we got a little cold during the night. That being said, we didn't ask for any more blankets - if we did I'm sure they would have been happy to accommodate. The person who checked us in was really nice as well. Again, we loved it here and will definitely be going back in the future.

So I live in Vegas Baby. I come to LA often for work and stay at a friends pad in Pasadena. Unfortunately this friends pad is disheveled and not appealing to the eye but it is Free! However as an influencer and content creator - I often do live streams, need quality content while I'm in LA. When i do, I come to this hotel and stay the night as it's near his pad. So it's convenient, It's very economic and it looks great on camera. The colors of the rooms and the art look great on all my live streams and in my content. Obviously the internet then also works very well too. Also

My boyfriend and I loved staying here! The bed was really comfy, the overall 50s type vibe was immaculate, and there's plenty of places nearby to visit. The L.A. Metro rail line is also nearby so that brings a lot more options for sightseeing to those who don't have other forms of transportation.
*edit* One very minor drawback is that we couldn't plug in our game console to the TV since it was essentially bolted to the wall. I understand completely why this was done, but it would've made this place that much more perfect if the HDMI ports on the TV were accessible

I don't even know why this place is called a hotel. This is NOT a hotel. Its definitely a motel. The bed sheets look old & feel old. The pillows are so flat & uncomfortable. We got a room down stairs and we could not sleep the whole night. We were able to hear them walking around all night , using their jacuzzi at 2:30 am. When complained to the front desk they offered to charge us $10 + for a room upstairs. This has honestly been the worst experience. Never coming back again.

I would give this place a zero. I called to make sure the room was available. Once confirmed, I made the reservation online, drove a long way just to find out they will not honor my reservation. Do not consider this place, the staff doesn't care, online bookings don't matter and you will get stranded. Btw, this place is a motel, not a hotel!

Clean, convenient location. Comfortable king room, retro style even the mini fridge. More a motel than a hotel. Quick check in. Close to Starbucks, grocery, liquor stores, their stores, Pasadena City College, Rose Bowl, downtown Pasadena, freeway. No pool and the pillows were disappointing. Lots of hot water in the shower but low water pressure.

We got the romantic suite with a jetted hot tub and a king bed as a little staycation for our anniversary; absolutely wonderful experience. Very nice shower which lets you choose between overhead and shower head and has dispensers for soap and hair. The main draw, however, is the hot tub, which for $200 is an absolutely exquisite experience. I guess if there were one con it would be that there is a bit of noise that seeps in through the door from the parking lot and street traffic, but that aside it's a wonderful room for the price point, especially for a "2-star hotel".

I stayed in the romantic suite I believe is what it's called, and it was definitely a vibey ambience with the lights, jacuzzi and nicely renovated bathroom/shower area. The staff was nice and I liked the amenities we had. The television did not work though. However. I'm only writing this review to warn people who are sensitive to paranormal things. My boyfriend and I could not even stay the one night we reserved because of what we experienced. Whatever energy is in there felt overwhelmingly bad and we actually saw a dark shadow figure go across the room. We both agreed to leave in the

This is my boyfriend and I's second time booking a room here within a month. It's very modern, simple, and we enjoyed our stay for the most part.
There's even a nice little two-seating side table to enjoy your take out which was nice.
Everything was perfect our during our first stay. The concierge even allowed us to early check-in, so that was such a convenient plus! Thanks again, kind sir!

Fights broke out in the parking lot middle of the night 2 days in a row. 2 different parties.
Trouble checking in basically had to pay twice!!!!!!! Yes TWICE!!!!!
Weird strong smells each morning... like raw or rotten meat?
Not a lot of parking so get there early or you'll pay.

Cute retro style--even an adorable fridge. I like the outlets all have USB ports. Nice remodel inside for sure.
However parking is scary it's so tiny and limited.
And my room never got cleaned in the 4 nights I was there. They didn't change the sheets, one day they didn't even bother to make the bed! I left a tip and a note asking for more towels and got fewer instead.

I found The Astro while looking for a last minute hotel. The front desk charged $30 more than what was showing online. He told me they only had one room left and that was the reasoning. It was fairly clean and had a nice modern feel. Everything was find until 2am when people were in and out of the parking lot, yelling and fighting. Not the hotels fault but they should have someone looking over the property.

I booked this damn hotel a month ago and canceled my reservation on the same day after knowing how awful it was from the trip app reviews. They did send me a cancellation confirmation on the spot. They charged me $100 on my first night, it wasn't pending, it was a sale! I called the hotel and they simply just told me fxxx off and there was no way to be found. They hung up on me with no apologize but an awful attitude.
How the hell in the universe could you still in business?
People! If you are rich enough to waste your money and friendly

This motel set up is not worth the price. parking, in itself, is so terrible and resembles a car junk yard in terms of how they compact cars in the lot. the bathrooms have modern aesthetic appeal, but the pictures posted online are very deceiving.
the sheets were stained with yellow marks and sleeping was an issue because of the sewer-like smells in the room. the a/c was not working well and the whole room was just poorly cleaned. the two stars go towards the fact that the room has a fridge, hairdryer, and microwave that all work. the tv is the nicest thing in the room, but with the spotty wifi

There were silverfish in the bathroom and the manager was horribly mean. He made me cry and then actually threatened to call the police on me if I didn't stop.
He also lied twice about upgrading me to a different room, which I offered to pay for. He took my card and didn't swipe it but didn't inform me so I ended up moving my property from the room only to put it back after I returned from work! You would do better to stay at one do the other three motels on this block!
