Stephanie began her career in property management in 2002 in the Fredericksburg, VA. She has been with Drucker and Falk Multifamily for 3 years. In her role as Property Manager, Stephanie leads and manages a team of leasing, customer service, and maintenance professionals. Originally from the small town of Montross in the Northern Neck she loves the excitement of Richmond.

I have lived here for 1.5 years, starting at the beginning of the pandemic (March 2020). Even while navigating through COVID, the office was always easy to contact and the property was well-maintained.
Pros:
Apartment was brand new
Any required maintenance (filter replacement, checking smoke detector, e.c.t.) was communicated in advance
Office employees were very friendly, easy to get a hold of, responded quickly and made the overall experience a pleasant one.
Any maintenance requests (the control panel on my dryer broke and had issue with dishwasher) were seen to quickly

It seems that I’ve encountered the same issues as previous people under the reviews. It’s so hard to get someone to answer the phones or even view an apartment. If I’m having this many issues attempting to view an apartment, I can’t fathom trying to get in contact with them once I’m stuck in a lease. I will be taking my needs somewhere else.

I am usually not one to write reviews online, but I have to warn people about this place. I decided to change jobs while living here and I decided to terminate my lease since the new job required a move. If I had properly read the fine print of my contract I would have probably not chosen to live here. Because in order to break a lease here you need to give 60 days notice (so pay two months rent) and then on top of that pay a lease termination fee worth two months rent. So in order to terminate your lease you are out FOUR MONTHS RENT!!! Which at these prices was more than $5000 just to terminate

I enjoyed my time at The Winterfield. The staff was always nice and the complex is beautiful. Only complaint that stopped it from being 5 stars is the flooring in the units. They scratch immediately and were terrible quality vinyl... it was clear they went with the cheapest flooring they could find, which is strange, as the rest of the apartment had high end finishes.
Cheap flooring aside, definitely recommend Winterfield.

I have lived in quite a few complexes around Midlothian and the Winterfield was the best out of all of them! Very nice and spacious apartment with high end appliances (washer/dryer were amazing) and great amenities. Excellent location close to lots of stores and restaurants, and quick access to 288. They are quick to address any issues that arise. Stephanie & Jennifer are super friendly in the leasing office and always helpful. I am only moving after buying a home but would recommend anyone looking for a midlothian area apartment to check them out! *very pet friendly as well*
