When Art of Maintenance first opened in 1977, times and cars were much simpler. A "tune up" would fix just about any problem, agreements were sealed with a handshake, and the customer was always right. Cars and society have both changed dramatically since then. Today's vehicles are highly sophisticated technological wonders, full of sensors, modules and computers.
From a simple oil change to replacing your vehicle's engine, and practically everything in between, we can take care of all your needs. Preventive Maintenance:We offer a full range of competitively priced maintenance services which meet all manufacturer's specifications and warranty requirements. So whether you need an oil change, one of the other fluids flushed, or your fuel injection system serviced, we are equipped to handle it all.
Your vehicles alternator is one of the most important components of your vehicles electrical system, without it your vehicle cannot operate. The alternator keeps the vehicle running by working to keep the battery charged. Our certified mechanics know how to quickly diagnose and resolve alternator issues fast.
There is no vehicle component more complex and essential than a car's transmission. Transmissions are responsible for shifting gears, either automatic or manual, to dynamically change the speed-torque ratio delivering power to the wheels in an efficient manner based on the speed of the vehicle. The reason for this is that engines output a high rotational speed which cannot be used for low speeds or starting.
In a vehicle, the timing belt or chain connects the crankshaft to the camshaft which controls the opening and closing of the engines valves. The valves need to open and close with every revolution and the timing belt controls this critical operation. Ultimately the timing belt keeps your vehicles upper end in sync with the lower end of your vehicles engine.

Been taking my car here for a few years for oil changes, etc., and it's always gone well. Noticed one of my tires was dangerously low on air today and drove it straight there. Even though it was almost closing time, the folks at Art of Maintenance pulled my car into the garage and thoroughly checked and fixed my tires. I really appreciated their quick service to make sure my car was safe to drive.

One shop told me I needed new brakes and I brought to Art of Maintenance for second quote and they said I was good for a while longer on brakes even though it meant loss of business for them. They will be my new auto shop moving forward!

I can't say enough amazing things about these guys! I have brought my old s10 pickup to numerous places over the years and this is the ONLY place I will ever go to from here on out. Not only are James, Kevin and the entire team genuinely friendly and professional, they have fixed numerous issues that no one else had been able to diagnose. Not only that but they installed mud flaps and an old bulb for free since it only took them 20 mins, I mean what other shop cares about loyalty this much? Art of Maintenance is by far the best in town. Won't go anywhere else!

After someone punched a hole in my gas tank over the holidays, Kevin and the team at Art of Maintenance helped me out. They were very professional and managed to replace the gas tank and return my truck to me the same day! I was not expecting such a quick turnaround, but it made the whole situation a little bit better.

Kevin and his crew did an analysis of engine troubles that had led to an engine that was totally burned out. Though it was a surprising shock to hear that diagnosis, Kevin assisted us in locating a warranty extension that had been issued to the car. Without his help and research, we would not have been able to seek out and confirm that the car was covered under these conditions and that the manufacturer will replace the engine for no out-of-pocket cost to us. That is the kind of help that goes beyond the scope of regular work with customers. I would heartily recommend Kevin and this shop in regards

Art of Maintenance is the only shop I'll take my 2004 Honda Civic Hybrid.
Amazing staff and no-nonsense hospitality. They take care of you and the vehicle, and tell it to you straight.
They go above and beyond by providing you with a full detailed report sent to your phone. The report shows the urgency for each needed repair.

I was so pleased with my experience at Art of Maintenance. I needed my radiator looked at due to a crack, but my A/C was also not working. James called me soon after I left the car with a clear assessment and plan. The car was ready to go by the end of the day! He showed me the damaged parts he pulled out of the vehicle and I was on my way with a fixed car! My A/C even works now! (James drove it around more than once to be sure). I was impressed with the professionalism, knowledge and respect this shop has. And the front office is so pleasant to be in!
