My husband and I have enjoyed Wessex! It’s a great apartment, and maintenance and staff are so quick to address concerns. It’s quiet, well kept, has vinyl flooring as opposed to carpet which is great if you have allergies, and is located in a more serene area of Ames. We’ve also enjoyed that many residents stay a bit more long term :)

We called to know more about the apartments and visiting. We were scheduled for two weeks later due to staff shortages. After long waiting when we got there, we realized they schedule a wrong apartment to visit. So we waited a couple of more days to visit the right apartment. After the visit, the agent told us that we will get a link for apply shortly which we did not get. The day after that when I called I was told that someone else applied a couple of hours after our visit. I asked to speak to the manager but the agent said I am the one who decide! Like she owns the whole place! After insisting

From the time I moved back to Ames in 2016 I was proud to call this apartment community home! The staff is warm, friendly and extremely attentive to details when it comes to any maintenance work orders. They made sure that my needs as a resident were taken care of. The pool, workout room, clubhouse, gated community and garage are amenities that are a big plus! Close to the research park, restaurants, and Iowa State University. I would still be calling this place home if my job did not take me out state!

Lovely! I have been here for 5 years now and my experience could not have been better!! I love all the mgmt people as well as the maintenance guys...I consider them all my friends. They are professional and absolutely attentive to lessee's needs. I've made so many friends here,and as a retired person, that's been a blessing. Neighbors are super nice and very quiet. I don't hesitate in recommending Wessex to everyone!!

This is a wonderful place to live! Great amenities and maintenance staff. Any maintenance requests or office questions are usually answered within a day. The apartments are very nice and updated. I couldn't have asked for a better and more serene place to live during my graduate work. Thank you Wessex for giving me a peaceful and enjoyable home.
