A refined and exquisite experience. The chef can be a bit heavy handed on salt occasionally but this dining experience I can honestly say is worth the price tag attached to it. Come hungry. Even the human garbage disposals of our group found themselves satisfied by the end of the 5 course meal.

This is an amazing place!! Farm to table produce presented as art on the plate. But it tastes every good as it looks. Almost all produce is grown on the property. The meat is delicious too though. Best of all is the outdoor dining withe all trees, plants and outdoor lighting. Served as a 3, 4, or 5 course and everybody at the table has the same number of courses. A wonderful experience! Note: No one is allowed to go inside except to use the single restroom, all outdoor seating only, go prepared.

Wayyyy bigger than I expected! They have a quaint front patio, about 3 indoor dining sections, and a large outdoor back patio (gravel, careful in your heels). We got the 5 course dinner, and it was exquisite! The soup presentation was lovely, and they had heaters everywhere to keep you warm. Just ask your server to turn them on(: Great specialty cocktails, too!

Perfect for a romantic night out. You can choose a nice fine dining setting inside or go all out, outside for that charming farm/rustic ambiance vibe. All the staff were knowledgeable. Food was tasteful and presented well accommodating the setting they are going for and offering. We would be back and are planning on coming back with the kiddos during the morning to the cafe for breakfast/lunch!

We splurged on a birthday dinner for two. The service and ambiance was top notch. The Farm is such a special place and then to have Quiessence in the South Mountain area is a special treat. For a special occasion, we would definitely go back. We were so into the experience we didn't take pictures of the food.

Great food and atmosphere! Love the outdoor seating but definitely wear bug repellent as we got several bug bites from sitting outside. There is also just one bathroom for the whole restaurant so plan accordingly.

Outstanding! Visited for an Anniversary and the food was outstanding! My date and I both ordered the five course meal, there was only one course that we both very keen on but the others were outstanding! We received a complimentary opening dish and a pallet cleanser later on in the meal (so technically a seven course diner? ). Similar to other reviews the courses came out a bit slow, we were the last ones in the restaurant and we were there passed closing. Despite this though it was a great meal and there was plenty of time for great conversations. The waiters were all knowledgeable and spared

I was so excited to do something nice for my boyfriend to hangout somewhere lovely prior to sunset. I saw that the Quiessence opened at 5pm and was unable to make a reservation online for 5pm since their website said it was highly recommended. We decided to get there a little early and probably arrived around 5:20pm. The host greeted us and I asked for a table for two. She asked if I had a reservation and told her that I wanted to come earlier than their online reservation system allowed. She said I needed a reservation and I apologized and told her that the website said it was recommended but

Food was delicious. Very well done. The only reason for 3 stars is one single "two bite" item they asked us if we wanted to try. Made it sounds complimentary but was actually $10 per person. Everything else was clear that you paid for but that one was presented like "we have this new item and you can try it if you like".

We took friends there for a dinner, and it was bad. We arrived early, and they sat us inside, even though we requested an outside table when we made the RSVP 5 weeks earlier. One hour after we were seated, we were still waiting for the first course to be served. Food was too salty. My ribeye was overcooked (well done) and cold when the entrees were serve (2 1/2 hours into the meal). My wife's salmon was raw and mush inside. Wine list was below average. I'd be surprised if this restaurant is still in business a year from now.

We went to Quiessence on Friday Sept 24. We had a bad experience because service was so slow we didn't get to eat our main course...even though they charged us for the full meal ($400 for two people).

We were seated at 7pm and planned for the recommended 3 hours. We had a hard stop at 10p because we got a babysitter for our kids.

The service was so slow that we hadn't even got our main course 3 hours into the meal.

They didn't say anything about timing until we asked when our main was coming, after waiting almost an hour between a course (they didn't check in once)

This was a pleasant 4 hour dining experience. I took my mom here for her birthday dinner. Both my mom and brother enjoyed the experience. We all chose the 5 course dinner.

They have a private room if you'd like. They also give you a choice of a 3 course dinner ($89 per person), 4 course dinner ($99 per person), or 5 course dinner ($109 per person).

Our favorites were the Corn soup starter, Parmesan Tacos with aged beef Carpaccio, Sweet Potato Gnudi, and Crispy skin Faroe Island Salmon.

The atmosphere is rustic farm meets modern contemporary restaurant.

Also important to note, most of

The food was presented beautifully. And that's about it. The flavor was flat, the steak was definitely NOT medium rare, the wine pours were very light for the price, and the Flys buzzing around made it hard to concentrate on enjoying the meal.

My husband surprised me with an 8 course dinner here for my birthday. Y'all, we've had many fine dining experiences and this is our new top favorite in the U.S. (our international favorite being De Kas in Amsterdam, another dine-at-the-farm great). He booked the outdoor table at the wood oven, but they graciously set up a table indoors when we realized our weenie Northwestern bodies wouldn't do well dining outside in the heat for hours. Our waiter was fantastic, offering information about all the dishes, refilling our glasses in a timely manner, and making friendly conversation

When we arrived we were greeted and told our table wasn't ready yet and sat by a fire pit. The girl who sat us at our table and poured our water was not friendly from the start. We watched her treat us poorly in comparison to another table. However!!! Our waiter was so great, he explained everything to us in great detail and allowed us to ask questions.
All of the courses were great, fantastic with the exception of the last one. We were so excited after all four courses for the final main course but were extremely disappointed.
The pork looked so great on others plates so we had ordered

One of my most delicious dining experiences i have had. I did the 5 courses and it was very delicious and i left completely satisfied. If you're going to do the tasting menu you need to have time which i appreciate because if they would have brought everything back to back i would have gotten full too fast. Overall it was a 3 hour dining experience with excellent customer service and flavors in a beautiful outdoor patio

The experience is meant to foster enjoyment in the surroundings and taking in the food that has been grown and raised all in the area. They set up small tables with intimate lighting. (Tonight's lighting was challenging as a patio heater actually shorted out all the stringed lighting). They all have great knowledge of the food and how they complement each other.
What really put a damper on the night was a large party that cursed, talked about dropping money on $1000 bottles of wine, getting naked for massages, and etc - but not just talking - yelling. What was supposed to be a way of escaping

Can I give this place negative stars?

Okay, the food was pretty decent. But "pretty decent" doesn't make up for "slow" and "menacing". I get it...they probably are just recovering from the pandemic, and when service is slow, a normal proprietor would say, "I'm so sorry that we're so backed up". But this owner????...his response was, "Your table is classless."

I suppose, for this hot-headed chef owner, that spending $4100 at this place (mostly in wine) is the hallmark of "classless". And that was bill before

Easily the most beautiful restaurant in The Valley! We were so taken back by how incredibly beautiful this area was!
We got the five course meal and was blown away by how amazing looking each plate was. The taste of most dishes was great, however it seemed like EVERY dish needed to involve duck on some level. Most of my the dishes were a challenge for this reason, but what we could eat was fantastic.
The main issue we had here was the quality of the service. The person delivering our entrees was so sweet and friendly. But our server and drinks person were quite bland. Unfortunately, a table of

We wanted to love Quiessence, we really did. The grounds were gorgeous and welcoming and the venue was as picturesque as the websites would have you believe.

The overall cooking was strong and in particular the early food was excellent - Amuse bouche was a Chula Seafood sourced ceviche (flavors were on point), followed by an absolutely standout cucumber soup with smoked fish. Best dish of the night. Due to a dietary restriction, the kitchen swapped their carbonara for an on the fly hand-made heirloom tomato bowtie pasta which was presented simply and relied on the strength of their well sourced

Quiessence has to be one of the most intriguing and intimate restaurants I've ever been to. Driving up you would think you're driving into a private residence. A large sprawl of green lawns, wispy trees, picnic benches, and strings of lights cast a romantic, summer feel to the place. As you drive closer to the entrance you start to wonder if you've actually arrived at a restaurant and when you walk past a small vegetable garden, intimate fire pits, and more strings of lights you start to understand the restaurant really does reside inside a former home. So as the servers greet you
