I will start by saying our service was wonderful. Christmas day afternoon dinner $65++ was the cost of a tri tip that despite good seasoning was very poor quality.
Duck was good. Soup was okay. Sides were a bit salty. Drinks were great.
Bread pudding was not pudding but burnt bread with 2 TBS of Ice cream. 1 of our party exchanged for peppermint cheesecake which turned out to be plain cheesecake with a chunk of white chocolate peppermint bark on the top.
We mentioned the meat. Got an apology but nothing more. After reviewing the bill we paid and left. Then realized the bill came to $120 a person

First time over a year ago, food was good. This time seven dishes and all were BAD! Undercooked, over dressed and cold food. Kale Cesar salad is arugula! Appetizers were also bad. Restaurant was nor crowded yet service was not good. Waiter pours entire contents of wine bottle into 3 glasses! I guess there is no training. This is DEFINITELY NOT worth the price. McDonalds is tastier!

Hubby and I decided to have Thanksgiving dinner at Blue Hound Kitchen. I usually make the big meal, but we no longer have family near and our oven is not working. Of the options for dining out on Thanksgiving we chose Blue Hound Kitchen because their Prix Fixe menu looked very appealing and reasonable in price. We loved it! Excellent in all ways. Ryan, our server, was wonderful. We enjoyed a Blue Mule cocktail that was one of the best cocktails we've ever tasted. Wow. Hubby went for the traditional Thanksgiving meal, turkey with the usual sides. The turkey was a combo of sliced breast and pulled

Had dinner here after the Phoenix Symphony. Not a large menu but we chose the salmon, the chicken and the mushroom entree for the vegan. The salmon with brussel sprouts, apple and miso were delightful. The bourbon batter chicken was cooked to perfection. And the mushroom was satisfactory to the picky vegan.

Ok, so the food stood out for me here, especially those cheese curds and tator tots over gravy! That was sooo yummy! I then had their pork belly grilled cheese, over what I can assume was sourdough bread; the sandwich was tasty but could have used a slight kick, however the pork belly was cooked to perfection. Now, here is my main concern, the price for happy hour drinks was a bit high. They have a 9 dollar old fashioned made with Evan Williams Bourbon that was fine, but fine doesn't cut it at that price. In addition, the house wine was 7 a glass which is FAR too much considering the sugar content

Our dinner was delicious BUT our waiter ADAM was the star ⭐️ of the show. He was very attentive to my daughters & I. There was a sincerity in his eyes & in his smile when he spoke to us. That’s a gift & a skill… that not everyone possesses. He is passionate about what he does & you can tell he takes JOY & PRIDE in it!!!! Adam, thanks for making my daughters & I feel special & thank you for keeping the Shirley Temples coming. We appreciate your service & we wish you well in your future endeavors.
