Alfonso's Italian Restaurant
Alfonso's was established in 1982 in Casa Linda Plaza, serving pizza and pasta dishes in a rustic old style Italian setting. The restaurant was named after my father for his love of enjoying only the freshest food available. In staying with my father's dedication to fine food, all the foods listed on the menu are prepared to order.

Although this process may take a little longer, we feel the end results are worth the wait. In 1991, Alfonso's moved to its current location, increased in size, and changed the decor, but the recipes unchanged. I hope you will enjoy your dining experiences and will become a familiar face for many years to come.

Horrid. Do not eat here.My hubs referred to it as Luby's Italian. The server 10min greet while all 4 servers were just on their phones. The wine was open too many days. Our server literally did not know one answer. My husband asked what something was on the menu. She replied ,"I don't even know what that is" ordering my wine"what number is that?" . The garlic knots were dough. My husband stopped eating the chicken marsala b/c it was sooo bad he was afraid it would make him ill. I just ate the chicken off of my plate. The "marinara" sauce was just canned tomato sauce tasted like no salt V8. I was

No one wanted to greet me as I stood and waited for a pick up. One lady looked up at me and waited a while to speak. She sent me to the pick up area where there were 2 young girls staring at me and not greet me either. I told them my name and had to choose from a.line up of reciepts to say which one was mines. I use the restroom which had a bad odor. Once I came out the restroom, one of the girls at the pick up counter pointed to my order on the counter and say"There's your order"...I was waiting for anyone one of the 3 girls to tell me thank u or have a goodnight as I was leaving, they didn't

0 stars!
The food was bland and flavorless. They do not know how to season anything; not even the salad dressing. The calamari was under cooked as well. And the cocktail was disgusting. Do not get the Riesling, it's a dry Riesling that tastes like Chardonnay. There was only 1 server while we were there and she was behind the whole time.

Customer service decent I’d rate 6 meat ravioli good , house salad had carrots and black olives NO tomatoes cucumbers or nothing . Could not order peach drink machine down. Has to send back crab claws smelled super fishy and was mushy, seafood pasta shrimp not done had no flavor like milk in pasta. The chicken Marsala was like a soup sent back the Detroit pizza was average frozen pizza but not terrible . FYI GOT SICK RIGHT AFTER .

Absolutely trifling. It doesn’t taste like anyone named Alfonso works there. Ordered the chicken Marsala and it tasted like frozen rubber chicken In mushroom broth. I tried one bite and almost barfed. Waitresses don’t acknowledge everyone and have a tendency to reach over everyone’s food. Everything seafood smelled like the bottom of the ocean and like expired. The best part I guess was the I want to say the salad is ok . They Ramsey in there because behind the scenes is probably bad.

Cool neighborhood restaurant. Great Italian food, reasonable prices. Decent wine selection for a neighborhood place. Fantastic home made rolls! Server said they were short staffed, but timing was surprisingly good. Would recommend

I've been eating at or picking up Alfonsos for 13 years. I share with people that if they want some good Italian food and awesome rolls, Alfonsos is the place. Well I don't know if the ownership has changed, but the food has and not for the better. My son drove from Greenville, TX to take his girlfriend and her father to dinner, he said he had never experienced such poor service or subpar food. Tonight my wife picked up pizza, lasagna and rolls, once again...not so good. Whomever made the changes needs to go because I'm done.

Wonderful food at a great little neighborhood spot. The rolls are amazing, as is the chicken piccata, calamari and artichokes. Haven’t had a bad dish yet. One of our favorites!

I'm not coming back because they had an issue with putting crab on my Fettuccine Alfredo (even though I pay EXTRA for it) and they've done it for me many times before.
Napoli's, Verona, or Lover's will be allll too happy to do it for me, without ANY hassles whatsoever!
Also, my guy said that even though the lasagna pasta and sauce were good, the meat on the lasagna tasted old.
So, from now on, it's Napoli's, Verona, or Lover's for us!

We had a LOVELY dinner for my brother's birthday last night and we were very impressed. It smelled heavenly and was so welcoming and cozy inside right from the first step in. The calamari was perfect, Minestrone Soup was very tasty, and 3 people at the table had the Seafood Special. I have NEVER had so much shrimp and crab in a dish, and a portion so large. The cream sauce was delicious and not too heavy. My grandmother said several times how delicious her chicken was. As another reviewer said, the Lasagna serving size is not as large as other restaurants, but I've always thought those portions

The Good:
A place where locals definitely come to eat.
The atmosphere was pleasant. Enough room for everyone to sit and walk without bumping into others.
The decorations were fitting for the place. Not too busy or distracting.
The pizza was delicious! The veggies were definitely fresh.
The Bad:
The garlic rolls, although tasty, could’ve been baked a tad less or have had a better rising agent. They were rather flat, compared to other Italian restaurants.
The Ugly:
The bar area was very random. A giant TV playing sports ruined the mood a bit, since the decor is red and black, but the bright
