Today was a special birthday celebration! So I wanted to suggest a nice classy/sit down resturant. I automatically thought of Ocean Prime in Beverly Hills. Valet was $15 and checking in was a breeze, I used the OpenTable app to book our reservation. The host greeted us and was seated indoors right away. There is also outdoor seating if you'd like, I'd suggest you check the weather!

This weekend I visited @oceanprimebh, a classy steak and seafood restaurant in the heart of Beverly Hills.
For starters, I had the Sonoma Goat Cheese Ravioli appetizer with golden mushrooms, sun dried tomatoes and a garlic butter sauce. This dish was the shining star of my dining experience. The creamy goat cheese combined with the other ingredients delivered the perfect flavor and texture combination. It was so satisfying I wish I had ordered more.

There used to be an Ocean Prime in Atlanta and the food was always so good, so we decided to go to this one for dinner. Reservations were made for 6pm but got there around 5:50. The hostess - black hair, pale, wearing gloves like she was in an igloo, checked us in and said she would let us know when the table was ready. For 25 mins, people would come in and get seated so I eventually asked her how much longer we had to wait. She checked and said she would not find our reservations. Wait, what? Amazing place for a date or a special occasion for the dining area.. it think if you wanted a quick dinner maybe happy hour would be quicker on the patio. Reservation was at 6 and we were there until 9pm. Long dinner but amazing food and service! The cocktails were also soooo good. I got the black orchid and I didn't even wanna try any of the other drinks. Seafood tower is custom which is great. The wedge salad was huge! And the lamb was also delish. The carrot cake was to die for. So yes that was a lot of food. We definitely has to take some home.

Decor and Vibe. There's two section to this restaurant. There's the bar section that's to the right and it's happening. A great place to grab a drink and hang out. To the left is the main restaurant that has many private rooms. There's also an outdoor seating area as well. It's a very big restaurant that's beautifully designed and has great vibes.
Service. 5 star service! Everyone is so helpful.

We attended a birthday party for my sister with a set menu. The options were broad and hit most of everyone's palette. The goat cheese ravioli was done very well. The crab cakes and their version of calamari whet the appetite. Lobster bisque was full of lobster meat, to my surprise. My filet mignon was placed on a bed of potatoes and spinach. There may have been a hint of bacon on there too. I wasn't sure. But the flavors were there. The chocolate mousse with peanut butter was done well, but at that point I was completely full. Will definitely return for the goat cheese ravioli

I gave this restaurant a 4 star on a previous visit but the most recent experience is a 3 star.
Service was excellent so i'll get that out of the way.
Blood Orange Old Fashioned - terrible, tasted like it was 80% pre mixed flavoring. I asked to exchange it for the Manhattan and that one was "normal."
New York Steak - Cooked well but was really salty, solid steak but nothing to write home about
Black Cod - over cooked
Octopus - tender and flavorful, probably the best dish of the night
Surf and Turf - Still awesome
Butter cake - Dry
Overall, it was a pretty mediocre meal
Service was excellent so i'll get that out of the way.

Came from out of town and got hungry after we've been out shopping. It was walking distance and I really like the food at Ocean.
For it to be a high end restaurant - they really failed at customer service. That's why I couldn't give them 5 stars. It started from the hostess. He had an attitude. So that rubbed us the wrong way
We sat outside, they weren't busy but we our server was hard to find. So we went to the bar for drinks and the bartender gave us an attitude, he said we had to order from server. We were over it after that.
As far as food- I enjoyed my Sea Bass but

Five of us had dinner here recently on a Saturday night. The restaurant was very busy, but they had our table ready for us right on time. We started with seafood appetizers and all of them were excellent - the lump crab, the shrimp cocktail and the oysters. We also tried the lobster bisque and the french onion soup - both were delicious and the serving sizes were very generous. The bisque was poured table side over lumps of lobster at the bottom of a bowl. Always fun when they do that - and it ensures that your bisque is served hot. For entrees we had rack of lamb (x2), roasted sea bass (x2)

Wanted to take my wife and daughter out celebrate their birthdays. Looking for something special but not too formal with outdoor seating. Ocean Prime came recommended. They honored our reservation - we were seated immediately. We started by sharing the shellfish Cobb Salad ($29). A large enough portion to easily share 3 ways. Tons of seafood, very fresh. People working here are sweet and attentive. Made last minute reservations and was seated right away. Their drinks were yummy and we had a little show when they were preparing them which was fun (there was smoke coming out of the drink- super cool!)
Got the French onion soup to start which was great! For my main dish I ordered the Teriyaki Salmon and I really enjoyed it. The rice was cooked to perfection and the salmon literally melts in your mouth. Left satisfied :)

My friend took me to Ocean Prime for lunch. It has a great atmosphere. Perfect place to have a nice chat or do a business lunch.
The outdoor patio was in use for a TV commercial so we had to sit inside, which wasn't bad at all.
The booths are nice and roomy but they are very far away from the table. You really can't sit back and relax while you eat because they are so far away. It is easy to get in and out, but really bad for sitting comfortably at the table since the back is too far away to use for support.

Love this place !! Randomly came across this place for lunch the other day and fell in love.
I ordered off the menu and my server accommodated me without hesitation, She has excellent taste descriptions and good service ! I really wish I remembered her name D;
They have a nice happy hour where the cool drinks are only like $10 along with some of the appetizers being discounted
I got a blacked salmon and Cesar salad which was amazing !
We also got the tuna tartare, truffle Mac and cheese, Brussels sprouts and mashed potato on the side which was BOMB !!
Can't wait to come back here

My husband surprised me with a kid free date night to Ocean Prime! We were seated promptly upon arrival in a nice secluded candlelit booth. Our waiter was a sweetheart and provided great recommendations since this was our first time dining there.
We received complimentary warm sourdough and pretzel bread. Yummy.
I ordered their famous bubbles and berries, crab cake, lobster bisque, sautéed mushrooms and wedge salad. My husband ordered a sprite, shrimp sautéed, Chilean sea bass and truffle mac and cheese. For dessert we shared the butter cake since it was our anniversary.

Well since my last review management at Ocean Prime, Jeremy reached out to me. He was empathetic and sympathetic towards our last situation and that meant everything. His customer service over the phone was phenomenal and I knew in my heart and soul he understood me, no matter the race he understood my dissapointment.

My heart couldn't be happier knowing that the outdoor dining scene is finally back. I've recently celebrated an early Vday dinner at their lovely outdoor terrace. The minute you step foot into their beautiful patio, it screams romantic ambiance. All the wait staff are wearing masks plus face shields to provide that extra reassurance of safe dining. Each booth is separated by plexiglass and surrounded by heat lamps. I see servers immediately wipe down and disinfect tables thoroughly once guests leave their table.
