Services
Our particular style of bread making incorporates traditional, hand techniques and we want our guests to see the process firsthand. That's why we designed our bakery to have open sight lines into our mill room and kitchen. Walk by our shop in the early morning, and you might catch one of us milling the day's flour.
Our bread is made from three basic ingredients: flour, water and salt. While the ingredients are simple, the process requires incredible rigor and attention to detail. We purposefully designed our kitchen and mill with open sight lines, for all to witness the miracle of bread, in real time. We carefully source organic, heirloom wheat berries with distinct flavor profiles, and mill them fresh in house.
Please refer to our regular menu sandwiches, which can be made into bite size portions, and salads, which can be made into larger portions. Pricing will be provided for each order, based on items requested and quantity. Orders can be arranged on catering trays, or packed in boxes. Please place all orders with at least 48 hours' notice to ensure availability.

I (like everyone else in South Miami it seems) am obsessed with Madruga. Get ready for a line if you come on the weekends but know that the wait is worth it.
The croissants are some of the best I’ve ever had and are simultaneously chewy and flaky. Ditto for the bagels which are only available on the weekends and are life-changing as well.
Their barista is incredible, serving up CounterCulture coffee on a single espresso machine. Every time I’ve been in the woman’s handling it like a pro, churning out lattes and cafe con leches seemingly effortlessly.
If you can get a table inside kudos

Truly delicious spot in Miami. The bread is divine, the calm open space is really nice. Went for lunch with my bf. I had the green salad with tuna salad.very yummy just was very low on dressing so I asked for more and it made a huge difference. The greens were a bit oldish so I picked some of them out. I also had a chai tea with oat milk, was wonderful. Lastly u ahead a flourless chocolate pecan cookie. I like the gluten free option. Wish they had more and some non dairy options too.
My bf had a chicken cream soup. He loved it so tasty. He had an Arnold Palmer which was terrible. Pure ice

Line all the way outside. Very short staffed. Girl taking the orders at the door somewhat rude and overwhelmed! If you want to come for breakfast/lunch while you work, go somewhere else! They do not have WiFi for guests OR the don’t want ro share it.
There are plenty amazing croissant and coffee places with better customer service and options!

This is a solid neighborhood bakery/breakfast/coffee spot. I've enjoyed my selection every time I've gone. My only feedback is that sometimes it feels a little disorganized. Because they run out of things (because it's so popular!)... which is fine... but they don't seem to have the communication down pat between the kitchen and the folks who take your order, because on more than one occasion, I placed my order and waited for it only to be told later that they didn't have any more/ran out. So I had to select something different on the fly and wait longer. That said, my

My daughter said they had the best egg sandwiches in the world so we had to go there. 50 bucks later I was eating a very good egg sandwich, the egg sandwich didn't cost $50 I bought some other stuff with it. The egg sandwich by itself was 8 - bought Apple Carmel cake there also and will update if it is also worlds best I'll update

Easily one of the best bakeries in Miami hands down. Madruga is fresh baked down from the actual flour made at house. They have many fresh bread, pastries and breakfast / lunch bites.
Easily recommend the egg sandwich we had. One on the best I have had in a long time. I also got to try the iced vanilla latte which was fantastic.
For sweets, we tried the flourless chocolate pecan cookie and the dark chocolate brownie. Both PHENOMENAL !
Can't wait to go back !

Madruga is a hearth bakery embodying that lovy, fuzzy feeling as you walk in. They milk their own wheat, bake all their good and prepare fabulous breakfast, brunch, and lunch treats. I loooove the Grain Porridge, sooooo good!! Their egg sandwich is delectably delish!! Their cakes, croissants, and gluten free options are also superb. Thanks to the Madruga team for opening your fabulous kitchen in the neighborhood.

Addicted. This is the best place in town for a nutritious vegetarian breakfast/lunch. Extremely fresh, high quality, house made (from scratch) food and drinks at a reasonable price. Gets really busy on the weekends (line is always out the door). My favorite place to eat out in Coral Gables. I’d recommend the house made sonora toast with ricotta and jam.

This place gets super busy on the weekends - and for good reason! I'm so glad I can hop on by for a delicious breakfast. The egg sandwich (it has the most tasty bacon!) was amazing as well as the chocolate croissant and espresso. I dined in and the atmosphere was nice and cozy. Will definitely return again.

This is what a cafe and bakery is supposed to be. Casual feel... and an over abundance of bakers baking away in the back. The aroma of fresh pastries and bread in the air as you walk in fills you up before you even order. That being said I just got a drink and ordered an almond milk cortado. I'm very particular about how my cortado is made and any deviations are met with a harsh critique. This one was on point and as good as it can be. Creamy and strong and exactly what you need to start your day. Will go back but next time going to indulge in some baked goods!

My friend brought me a piece of the lemon polenta cake and I thought it was great, so I decided to come here a few days later and try more items. Guava&cheese danish and oatmeal cookie were both yummy, but the other 4 things I got were disappointing. Monkey bread was cold. Chocolate hazelnut croissant didn't have much chocolate or hazelnut and seemed a little underdone. Chocolate chip cookie was very bland and needed sugar! I rarely think this about any desserts bc I usually find everything overly sweet, but the cookie was hardly sweet at all which was weird. Chickpea harissa sandwich

I love making sourdough breads at home (yes, I started during the pandemic, along with half the world). Recently I heard about Madruga, how they mill their own flour, and after seeing pictures of their loaves I knew I had to make a pilgrimage to see what this local rustic bread bakery has to offer. I ordered the country blonde loaf, a 100% whole wheat, a chocolate croissant, a mini lemon cake, and some chicken salad.
The country blonde had an amazing soft tenderness and a somewhat open crumb that was mostly even, except for a couple of “mouse holes” (which I honestly liked because it was the

I am not too happy about this place. At least my experience was not the best.
I had it on my bookmarks and last Saturday was a perfect day to go.
The lady who answered my phone call was super nice and she explained how the process works. Since you can order online or just in person.
We decided to order there because last time when we passed by we saw a table so it looked something easy.
Once we got there I ordered from the lady on the table who was not nice at all or attentive. She was actually rude and I didn’t like at all the way that she treated me especially because of the fact that other
