With over 70 years of combined experience in primary care and geriatrics, we are also able to diagnose and treat new medical conditions and pride ourselves in "thinking outside the box" to solve patient's problems. We try to treat all of our patients as if they were members of our family by focusing on the prevention of medical problems and helping each patient to understand what he/she could do to stay healthy.
When our parents moved to Hagerstown over twenty years ago one or their major concerns was identifying a primary care physician they could trust. Finding Dr. Mary Money was a gift. Dr. Money combines the medical knowledge, skill and experience of. I have been receiving care at this practice for 20 years.

Services
After many bad experiences with doctors and CRNPs that literally couldn't be bothered to deliver quality patient care to my blind mother, we landed here on a recommendation and saw Lauren Kessler, CRNP. She delivered the most in-depth examination I've ever experienced and actually LISTENED to my mother and CARED about what she had going on.
Dr. Mary E. Money started a solo internal medicine practice in Hagerstown in 1980. She was joined in 1996 by Christine Feathers, a certified nurse practitioner, and in 2019 by Lauren Kessler, a certified nurse practitioner as well as Ever I. Ponciano, MD. When combined we have over 75 years of medical experience.
Primary Care Associates of Hagerstown is proud to be one of the few remaining private independent practices in Hagerstown where our focus is on the individual. We try to treat our patients like we would want to be treated with courtesy and respect. If a person calls in with a medical problem that we can handle in the office, we try to see that individual the same day or within a few days.
We see all patients on an appointment basis. However, we try to save several time slots every day for acute minor concerns and encourage our patients to call immediately if they are worried about their health. The office phone number is 301-797-0210.
We try to see all the patients on time, and request that you extend the same courtesy to us but since not all problems are solved in the 15 minute time slot, we may not always be able to keep to the schedule. Please try to arrive at least 15 minutes ahead of your appointment time with the provider so that your medications and insurance information can be updated.

Dr. Mary E. Money grew up in Fairfax County, Virginia outside of Washington DC. She attended Westhampton College of the University of Richmond for 2 years; in 1970 received a BS in Biology along with being named to the Phi Beta Kappa Society from the University of New Mexico; and returned to the Medical College of Virginia, Richmond, Virginia to get her MD degree in 1974.

I loved this place when Lorri Rice was there, but it's really gone downhill. The front desk staff is lukewarm. I never know if I'm going to be treated kindly or as if I'm a nuisance and it depends on the moods of whoever is up there and not on my behavior.
The last few times, I saw Lauren. The first time she was going to send me out without an antibiotic and Dr. Money consulted and said I absolutely needed the antibiotic. The second time, I didn't feel heard at all. The third time I went in with a serious concern and was sent for labs. I had to call to follow up and spoke

I called to move my fiancé’s appointment sadly last minute which I completely understand. Wendy, who answered the phone, says there will be a charge for canceling day of. (Again, I get it) I let told her I apologize it’s been a lot lately, he tested positive for covid last Monday and she said “well then you had a week to call and reschedule, you’ll get a bill for $38 in the mail”. Completely insensitive/rude with no grace. This is not the first time I’ve called and been spoken to with a negative attitude by her. This type of behavior and lack of professionalism is not a good look for

I went to this practice because of Dr. Ever, I meet him at his previous practice. I did not look for previous reviews, so I know nothing of these past issues.
Dr. Ever is a knowledgeable, caring, physician that is extremely easy to talk to. He discusses a treatment plan(s) with you so you the patient have input into your care.

I was a patient of Lorri Rice, My husband and I loved her and were very sad to hear that she had left. We have had the worst time with them since just trying to get prescriptions refilled and sent to the pharmacy. We call in and over 2 weeks later we are still trying with our Pharmacy to get a prescription fill, the help they have in there at the front desk that is new is worthless at giving messages to Christine ...... It has us to the point to look for a new practice..... didn’t have this issue with Lorri Rice when she was there,, she was a great practitioner and listened to her patients .

The medical practice may not be aware of this, over 404 people have reviewed my complaints so far. Only 1 person left a compliment and 2 others left a feedback of being funny. Unfortunate nothing was funny on the way I was treated by this practice, probably the two ladies that mistreated me left those funny feedback comments. This tells me that when 404 people review my comments, their has to be a legitimate reason for doing so. Another patient has claimed that I was accurate on the way this practice is going.
The medical practice has ignored my complaints and has refused to address the poor

I have been a patient of Christine Feathers for well over 20 years. She has proven herself to be a huge compliment to her profession. She is medically knowledgeable, compassionate and honest. She saved my husband's life by
diagnosing problems with his prostate, which turned out to be cancerous. We are very greatful to have her as our medical provider.
