A lovely vintage restaurant stop. Our waiter was just the right amount of attentive. We enjoyed the chicken tenders. Very tasty.

Went there with a large family group - before anything else, the service was amazing! Óscar and assisting staff were on top of things and managed to get our group of 11 everything we asked for promptly, and even put my baby nephew’s order in before everything else so he’d get his food first, allowing for minimal tantrums. The appetizers (wings and calamari) and cocktails were really good! The entrees fell short. Fish and chips were really bland; those who got steak dishes felt the meat was very chewy / flavor wasn’t too good. Burgers were reportedly okay. Taste aside, the portions are generous

I have been coming here for years and the long Island I was told has always been $5 but ONLY in the bar during happy hour. My friend and I ordered one dish to share and the waitress charged us an extra $3 WITHOUT communicating that there would be an extra charge for having it split in half. Which we feel should have been communicated better. We also ordered a side of fries for an appetizer and they came out with the dish. Making it difficult to eat them with the meal and she did not take it off the bill when we asked

Founded in 1996, the 125th Street Grill hasn't changed much since then. Inside is the "family style restaurant" experience you remember as a kid, with decor from decades past. It's not shabby, but it's not winning any contemporary design awards either.
The real surprise is that the food is genuinely good! The prices were reasonable, my steak was tender and cooked perfectly, and even the vegetables were tender and buttery, but not old-people mushy. The server was friendly and the kitchen was quick.
You won't win any Instagram style points for eating here, but you will get a good meal for a good

The corn beef hash breakfast was really good. Poached eggs on top is a new one fir me. Nice and runny, great for the home fried potatoes. Place looks clean, facilities clean. Staff was friendly and service was good. Its on the corner of 128th and Aurora, which is a busy street.

A lot of menu items to choose from. Everything we had was good. Desserts were especially amazing. If you like key lime pie, then you have to try theirs. A whole lot of lime flavor. And the mud pie was piled high with good stuff. Facilities are a bit rundown, but still worth a stop.

For the price you pay for the food they could offer better cuts of steaks. Like trimming som of the fat off. I had the early bird special at half price. You're looking at about $180.00 to $200 dollars for two people on the early bird special on Friday between 3:30PM-5:00PM. For the price the food could be better. The clam chowder is excellent. The service is fair. All in all I give the place three stars. Because they could improve on the menu.

Why can't we give zero or negative stars? Just went to this place to try it for the first time and I ordered the 6oz sirloin cooked medium well (I know, not ideal but I'm pregnant). The prize seemed steep for the cut at $23 but it's what I was craving. I'll start by saying that I'm profoundly pissed off at myself for not taking a picture of the abomination they presented to me, but I was too upset at the time to remember. The steak came and it was smaller than the size of my credit card, which I showed the server and her response was, "yeah - it's 6oz" and

Food has absolutely no taste. My brother ordered the New York steak it was definitely the equivalent of a Denny's steak. I don't know why they bothered asking how he wanted it cooked it was so thin there was no ability to be medium rare, it certainly wasn't. It was a slide of sandwich meat. The vegetables were a mush. The potatoes and gravy had no flavor. I had post roast there was no flavor what so ever. Very nice waiter, but awful food. The salad was old and soggy

This place is campy in a good way. Food is good, nothing game changing, which is great if you're craving a classic dining experience. Low prices, friendly staff, parking on-site. The area around is a little bleak and spooky, but I kinda like that. I'd recommend stopping by for breakfast solo or with friends. There is enough room to feel somewhat private while eating. Bathrooms are clean, and they are complying with mask rules, much appreciated

Got some chicken strips and a Monte Cristo. Both were very good. Service was great. Restaurant was clean. Only gave 4 stars due to my wife's fries were under cooked. Other than everything was fine. Would definitely go back.

I love this unassuming place, it reminds you of days gone by, but in a good way. it's comfortable, the servers are friendly, the food is fresh and consistently good. I can't say I've tried everything, but what I have tried, I keep ordering it. My favorite is the Thai beef salad, made with moist tender flank steak with a yummy dressing, fresh salad greens and crisp wonton strips, so good! My friend had the cod sliders, also, really good, I wanted both!!

What an absolute surprise gem! My friend took me here for dinner because it's near her place. I didn't know what to expect, but I will say I am in love with their clam chowder. I should've ordered a bowl! It was so good, worth risking my dairy allergy for.

I also ordered chicken tenders and fries because...sometimes I want to eat like a 5 year old. haha. Both were done very well and I was most impressed with my chicken tenders.

I will definitely be back when I come to the area.

Pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. The food is fresh and flavorful and the service was friendly. It is in a very creepy area, but that shouldn't steer you away. I got the home style chicken which was in a delicious batter and fried to perfection. My spouse got the liver steak and onions with mashed potatoes and clam chowder starter was included. The prices can't be beaten for how much you get and for how fresh it is. We will definitely return to try more dishes

I've near here for 50 years. This used to be a Black Angus. Ha! Certainly not anymore.
So, you're driving down the road, beautiful 125th and Aurora. You are kinda burned out on Thai food, and you've had a lot of burritos this week.
You're feeling like a simple diner, with some meatloaf like mama used to make.

You're looking at this place, your heart says 'Diner', but your gut is telling you, "Hmm, place surrounded by hookers and a dilapidated crack head motel, boarded up. Something ain't right here", you say
But what the hell, you go against

We've been curious about this spot for awhile now. We're hardly in the area, but the food was solid. Has the good time feel of what I remember simple restaurants used to be like. We went for lunch, so it wasn't super busy, but my sandwich and husbands cod and chips were good. We plan on coming back to try some other items!

Went in for Sunday brunch ~1330ish.
Service was a bit patchy, but not out of line for the post rush timeframe.
The restaurant seemed well kept, & the food was great, decent pancakes are easy to do, but these were a cut above that in an unpretentious fashion.
Hashbrowns were just right, & the coffee was acceptable.
I've paid more for worse (yes restaurants can mess up pancakes..scary but true).

125th Street Grill deserves a better rating. Sure it's not the greatest neighborhood, but the staff is friendly, the food doesn't disappoint, and best of all it's never crowded! I typically go in on the weekends for breakfast and it is one of the few places that isn't packed. Have stopped in for Lunch and Dinner on occasion and been very pleased as well. I haven't been in the bar too many times but it seems popular. Saw another review mentioning price; I don't feel it's higher than most other places in the area, and even if it was the amount of food you get

This place has some of the best french fries I've ever had in my life. They taste great and are crunchy. I went there twice. First time I had the New York steak sandwich (pretty much just a 8oz steak with a piece of bread underneath) and the fish and chips. Can't go wrong with either. The salad comes with the fish and chips (you have a choice between soup or salad). Overall the food tasted great and the service was fantastic.

Meh...this place is just okay. Nothing really special to write home about.

My wife and stopped here one afternoon for a late lunch, having driven by it numerous times and saying to ourselves that we needed to try it out...having it look like a "family restaurant" type place. Oh, unfortunately we were disappointed.

My wife had the French Dip sandwich and I had the Rueben sandwich. We were both hoping for a big tasty sandwich with fresh meats, but what we got were big blah sandwiches with tough and fatty meat. :-(

We got onion rings for the side, and those were really good. Deeply

I'd say that the 16-ounce prime rib that I had recently at the 125th Street Grill was a very good value. It's unfortunate that a good reasonably priced steak is difficult to find in the greater Seattle area. A rare exception to the rule is the 125th Street Grill.

But I digress. At some restaurants prime rib comes with a huge amount of fat. Not so for tonight's dinner. This prime rib was nice and meaty and done just to my liking. The baked potato was, well, it was a baked potato. The vegetables were likely from a large plastic bag of vegetables which had spent considerable time

Ordered food at 806PM. Grubhub gives each restaurant a special tablet on which the orders come in. According to the person I spoke with, they realized that the tablet wasn't online, did nothing about it, and when my order came in they didn't know. Driver shows up, they're out of what I ordered. They tell the Grubhub driver (seamless I think, but I guess it's a subsidiary). Driver says they're going to tell Grubhub. Obviously doesn't because second driver arrives. That driver says they're going to tell Grubhub. I start calling asking where my food is. No one knows

While staying with my BFF in Seattle, we met up with some of my family who live close by and this is where they chose to have dinner.

This is a neighborhood restaurant that before going there, I did my research on Yelp and after reading some reviews, I was a little weary of their choice.

I'm happy to say that my experience was better than expected! We were in a booth for 6 adults, one toddler and one 5 month old and it wasn't cramped at all. My cousin and his family live near by, so our waiter knew them and was very friendly with all of us.

My cousin's wife recommended the crispy
