As legend has it, my great uncle Jake O'Shaughnessy opened the soon-to-be-famous saloon in Seattle in August of 1897. It was Jake's intent to provide first quality libations to thousands of Yankee shopkeepers, farmers, drummers, and doctors who flooded Seattle during the Gold Rush. My Great, Great Grandpa was a cheesemaker, my Great Grandpa started the Sunny Jim Peanut Butter Company that my Grandpa ran.

I wrote a review on January 18th regarding my bill and what I thought were hidden charges for their cooks. I want to say for the 1st time writing here and on another site I received a response from management addressing my issues and concerns.
I only gave them 3 STARS for that review. I'd like to give them 2 additional STARS because they reached out immediately showing that they care about their customers. It's the people like this that keep customers loyal and happy.

Three of went in for lunch today.
The food was outstanding, appetizers and entrees both.
We were seated immediately, initially by a large group, but what quickly became virtually our own private dining room.
Our server Mikaylah was 5 star plus, start to finish.
Knowledgeable, friendly, informative, helpful, and spot on with service and check backs. She tied the whole experience together immaculately!
Our group is all service industry, so when we say she nailed it, she did.
We mentioned to front desk on the way out what a rock star she was.

Von's has been my go-to spot for the past 3 years in Seattle. Whether it be a casual lunch (highly recommend for locals. It's quick and there's a discount for WA residents), a nice weekday dinner, or out of town visitors it does not disappoint.
If you're in for a good time, try the braised pork Mac and cheese (bonus add on of mushrooms and broccoli for those inclined). It's rich and decadent...sure to impress.
My lunch go-to is the chicken sandwich with a side green salad.
And finally the drinks. If they don't have what you're looking for, it's rare. 1000

I enjoyed lunch at Von's with my husband and his cousins. They have a couple decent vegetarian options but I was less impressed by their tap list. It's also pretty pricey. Regardless, we were able to get a couple items to share as well as a few beers and still have a nice lunch.
The two pastas we opted for were the vegetarian pasta and the mac and cheese. Both were delicious! Nothing too unique but still flavorful and good to share. We also enjoyed the nonna maria pizza and mushroom vegetarian pizza which was basically the pasta in pizza form. You could tell the ingredients were fresh

Easy place to spot out, it's right on the main street in Downtown Seattle close to Pike Place's Market. With Seattle being so sketchy these days that less people are frequenting, makes it easy to find parking close by. Still bring pepper spray and be aware of your surroundings though.
I personally probably won't ever come here unless it's specifically for a friend's birthday like the other day, but they have house-made sour dough pastas that are fire. Mocktail drinks cost almost just as much as a regular drinks. I didn't finish my boneless chicken wings, not sure

Always great food and exceptional service, even in a pandemic. It was busy but not slow. One of my favorite Mac and Cheese I've ever had and I try Mac and Cheese every chance I get. I absolutely love their in house sourdough pasta and their cheese sauce. Pulled pork was well smoked and tender. The BBQ was the right amount of sweet and tangy. Their fries are also perfectly salted. My Lemon Drop was delicious as was their house red wine.

Portions are large. I ordered the clams which was from the appetizer menu and it was enough for lunch. Others in our group who ordered entrees hard leftovers.
The food is a bit pricy, but that seems to be the case with every restaurant post covid. What I did not like about it was that for the payment at the table they had only two options for tip: 22% and 28% and no option to customize on the device! I don't think that's fair and it should not be allowed

What an amazing experience! We had to sit outside with the vaccination mandate in order! Super small patio with more of a bar style seating with maybe 8 seats! Since they make homemade sour dough pasta of course I had to get the pasta! I had the Mediterranean vegan sourdough pasta which I finished it all off.. So tasty! Then we also ordered the fish tacos and meatballs that they said they also enjoyed! We ordered a drink that they lit a sparkling firework when they got to the table.. We all got a laugh out of it! Server was amazing and super attentive!

@vons1000spirits has a huge food menu but an even bigger drinks menu! this spot focuses on creating craft burgers, pizzas, pastas and even booze from sourdough! I would def say that one of the best things i had on this trip were those pork fries!!! They were deliciously seasoned and crispy. I'm also not a big cheese either but the cheese was very mild and actually complemented the pork in the fries really well.

Finally tried it, and it is as great as people say! A super chill ambiance, QR menu, and exciting drinks that pack a punch and get an A+ in presentation. I had a great night here with a friend who's visiting and after our night I highly recommend Von's as a place to check out when in Seattle.

My friend and I went here for happy hour and OMG. We had the sourdough and mozzarella, wowowow. The bread is sooo fresh. Nice and warm, soft in the inside and crunch on the outside. It was a nice sized loaf too! A great big ball of yummy burrata and pesto

You will find Von's down the road from the long line restaurants at Pike Market place and I'm glad we did. The restaurant is nice, staff is great and the food was soooo good. Probably the best chowder that I've ever had.
We started off with Almond Blasted Broccoli and Charcuterie board. The broccoli with squeezed lemon over it was cooked perfectly with a hint of smoke on it. The tomato jam and sourdough bread on the board was great. The blue cheese wasn't to funky and really good.
My entree was the Salmon Chowder. Instead of a bread bowl the salmon rests on a slice of sourdough

After searching for hours for a restaurant open in Seattle after 9pm, we stumbled onto Von 1000 and we are happy that we did. Although the menu consists of your typical bar food, the quality is top notch and the service is great. I would recommend starting with the wings, they are juicy and flavorful. For entrees, we had fish tacos and Seattle burger.

The restaurant was busy. We were able to be seated for a party of 15 within 45 minutes on a weeknight. Food here is decent. There are several different options to choose from - burgers, flatbread pizza, chowders and all other dishes.
She has the green goddess flatbread pizza. It was okay and is a bit dry for my liking. The calamari was great - tentacles and all. The aioli sauce was bomb! The salmon chowder was good - I like it was topped with big chunks of salmon. The fresh mozzarella was decent. The Haas avocado burger

We stopped into Vons to get a beverage, it was around the lunch hour as the restaurant was a bit busy, but we could sit at the bar. We ended up having almost every cocktail on the menu, and they were very delicious.

If you're in search of great food & deliciously affordable Manhattan cocktails, Von's is the right place for you! It's located at the top of the Harbor Steps, just a few blocks away from Pike's Market. When you walk in, it's really industrial feeling & the bar has a ton of seats - with a good sized dining room too. They make their own sourdough pastas right as you walk in the door too.. so cool!

We went here on Tuesday night for dinner around 11pm almost 2 weeks ago and there was no wait. It was our first day visiting Seattle, so I'm glad this place is open late! We ordered the Hass Avocado and Billionaire's Bacon burger and the Mary's Peppered Fried Chicken Sandwich. We both got side of fries which came with our order.
We split our burgers in half, so we can both try the two items. I liked liked the chicken sandwich, BUT I didn't like the spiciness of it since I have a low spice tolerance (the spice kept adding up). Then I tried the burger and ended up liking it more

Went here for dinner as a group of 4 people. Even for a Friday night 9pm, the wait was minimal (5mins) which was a pleasant surprise considering this is a popular place. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating available.
Ordered 6 plates of 4 different types of food items: burrata, hummus, bang bang chicken, chicken wings. The food was quite good. Nothing to die for, but good. Chicken wings could have been better. The drinks were fine as well. Some of them have additional presentation added like a mini firecracker (picture attached).

Honestly hard to do better for the price. Atmosphere, location, and quality are all very high. The pasta was fantastic, the sandwiches not as nice but only because the pasta was so tasty. Drinks are pricey but in line with the area and generally visually dramatic. They also have cheaper options (the 6 dollar martini really isn't half bad).

First time ever in Seattle, and our server was amazing last night! 5 stars for you Tracy! She went above and beyond for all our request and questions.. 4 stars for the food!
The cod tacos were amazing missing the avocado salsa though, same thing for the chicken pasta a portion enough for two and so filling! The fried calamari only downside was too oily, the plate was dripping.

This place is still producing great food consistently! Too many good things to say about this place and a personal fav in Seattle but here's my take for today. Drinks and their selection are fit for any palate. Had the braised pork mac and cheese, old fashion and a lemon drop. Wife had vegan pasta, oaxacan old fashion and a lemon drop. Just yum! Fresh sourdough pasta is crazy good! When in downtown Seattle, stop by. You won't be disappointed!!
