I have a moose living above me. Every time she walks around the floor booms. I have asked her husband to have her wear some sort of shoes i.e. soft sandals or crocks but so far nothing has changed. She practically runs from room to room like there was a fire. To bad there isn't. Other than that I find it a good place to live. Most people here have a dog and take care of it. The place actually has a lot of ground to exercise your dog should you want to do it. Maintenance here is excellent. There is a nice outdoor pool. Security is good with and very well lit up at night. On December 11th, 2021, I called for a Market Survey. Alexis answered the phone. I asked her for her traffic for last week. Alexis mentioned they wouldn’t have the numbers until Monday. I than asked her for the occupancy and pre-leased. Alexis than decided it was appropriate to hang up on me. This is completely unacceptable. I would have never thought it was appropriate to hang up on anyone.

Don't put a deposit on an apt unless u know for sure u will be accepted !! It has taken 6 months to get my deposit back after NUMEROUS times of calling and giving them my new address, not one person actually did write it down so they sent it to my old address five times just to be sent back !!6th time must be a charm....guess we'll see!

Christy Lindstom (General Manager)was absolutely amazing! She was very knowledgeable, professional, respectful, etc. etc.. Jake Ortiz is the head of maintenance. Jake is also all of the above. With these two individuals leading this property I don’t see how one can lose!! Thanks for a great experience!!

I have lived at this apartment complex for two years, and over the last year they have progressively gotten worse at doing simple tasks. How low does your IQ have to be to fail at running an apartment complex? Simple tasks like renters insurance certification. I have had 3 people including the property manager tell me in person my certificate was good, just to have corporate void it and charge me 15 dollars a month. This has happen repeatedly.
They were not even able to tell me an accurate move in date when moving from one apartment to another, and had me postpone for 3 weeks because they dont

I been here for five years now my apartment has been broken in to my cars have been hit three times and there are no cameras to confront any one multiple car breakins at this complex even as a gated community the gates r always broken so any one can get in would def not recommend moving to this ghetto gated community. Managment is also very unprofessional and rude to their five year residents. My rental got towed w out any warning. And they won’t even work w me on that worse place ever and very over priced for the poor location

I lived at Avana for nearly 5 years. The apartments are very nice with the perfect amount of space per room. The gym is plenty big and the pool area is great. Maintenance has always been on things same day from my experience. Parking can be tight but there's almost always somewhere to park within the gated community. The staff is also extremely helpful and friendly. The walls are thick enough that it's pretty peaceful most days unless you have upstairs neighbors that have 3 large dogs that run around because they won't walk them. My ONLY complaint is that the back gate keypad has never worked,

Chaz on the maintenance team is a blessing! My car was stuck at 6 am from the recent "blizzard" and even though it wasn't his job he went above and beyond to help me dig my car out and push it so I could get to work. When I say he helped I really mean he did ALL the work himself and didn't think twice about it. I'm so grateful and thankful that he is such a nice guy. I tried to tip him and he wouldn't accept it, he is honestly the nicest person and he deserves praise for his efforts! Thank you so much!
