We live in Wake Forest with our daughter, Raelyn, and are so thrilled to be part of the wonderful charm of downtown Wake Forest. Enjoy a pot of hot chocolate, hot tea or lemonade and a small plate of desserts for your little one. The table will be set with a tiara and wand to take home. A delightful tea party on the lighter side, including a pot of premium tea or specialty coffee and choice of sandwich or salad from our Cafe menu with an assortment of desserts.

I reached out to Amy about planning my daughter's 5th birthday. From the very beginning, her communication was quick and thorough. She helped me plan the BEST party!
Earlier this week, the forecast called for 5+ inches of snow. She was so flexible
with planning and making sure it would be safe for everyone to get to the party.
We arrived to a beautiful room, ready for us to decorate. Her staff was efficient, kind and accommodating. Amy did an excellent job facilitating the afternoon to help everything run smoothly.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND working with Sugar Magnolia for your party needs.

I recently worked with Amy in securing and planning a baby shower for my daughter-in-law (long distance as I live in New York). The space was perfect size. We found the Cafe quaint, personable and welcoming from the moment we walked through the doors. The food and the drinks (teas, special coffees and the signature drink) were all delicious! Amy and her staff are the best!

The staff at Sugar Magnolia Cafe & Emporium is just as awesome as the coffee and sweets they offer. I especially appreciate their dedication to supporting the local business and arts community. They have a great meeting space, room for private parties, and a variety of classes are offered in their lower level space. So happy they are in Wake Forest! PLUS--they are open in the evening!

While there is technically only one gluten-free option marked on the menu the staff is knowledgeable about modifications that can be made to others to make them gluten friendly. I would not visit here often to eat due to the limited options, but the shop is super cute! and the staff is great! If you want to feel fancy and feminine you can have a tea party here. There was one going on while we were there and it was adorable.

Attended a show in the Magonolia Roots area of the building. Small, intimate and seating g listening room. Ordered food upstairs at the Magnolia Cafe and they bring it down to you. Also had a selection of beer and wine. A most enjoyable time listening to music without a busy bar atmosphere. Civilized listening. I highly recommend and would love to attend another show here.

Sugar Magnolia Cafe is a delightful little spot located in historic downtown Wake Forest offering tasty salads, sandwiches, and an assortment of coffees and teas. They also offer special spreads for tea time, which harkens back to the origin of this location as the English Tearoom. It has become a favorite. The front window looks out on the small-town main street and is always seasonally decorated, so it kind of feels like you're in a Hallmark movie.
