A first time visit. We hoped for a fun unique lunch spot; avoiding fast food. Lunch was indeed amazing and outdoor setting very pleasant. Only negative was the total lack of friendliness by staff…unfortunate for a neighborhood café. We didn’t feel very welcomed. A simple smile on a face or at least a pleasant tone would likely result in better tips and repeat customers. Hoping this was just a off day…

The food was fantastic, and the atmosphere on a cool October night was cozy and comfortable. John prepared our food and then came out to check on how everything tasted. One of the better meals my wife and I have enjoyed locally in a very long time. I want so badly to give five stars, but actually ordering the food almost had my wife and I turning around and going somewhere else. The young lady behind the counter acted as if us ordering our meals was an inconvenience to her. Truly understand and empathize with wait staffs, but how she spoke to us had my wife and I on the brink of leaving. Ultimately

This place just keeps getting better and better. They have a wonderful chef working who is not only accommodating but goes out of his way to make sure the customer is comfortable within the environment, I was grateful and appreciative of this.
This is also a great time of year to visit, have some drinks and warm up to a fire on the patio.

Third time in a row we have had to deal with a nasty attitude from who we assume is the main chef or manager? This would be the older gentleman with the personality of a rusty pipe.
We arrived around 4:58 PM for a 5 PM pick up order. This man got WAY too sassy at us for being early. I'm sorry... would you like us to go stand outside for a couple seconds then come back in?
The Farmhouse Cafe has great food, I will give them that. But god forbid you breathe the wrong way in front of that man. Work on better customer service, sir. I feel sorry for his coworkers. They have all been very sweet. If

Such a beautiful set up, spacious and clean. This place has a great atmosphere inside and outside, also the coffee was pretty good as well as the pastry we had. However, the staff was very short and in our particular case we were rushed to place an order by the cashier. Unfortunately for me they forgot my order so I had to ask for it and wait longer for it. I would recommend better customer service, so clients would feel like they want to come back for the great food you offer.

I have driven by this place hundreds of times going to my house and finally stopped in. I only wish I had sooner because the whole set up is pretty awesome and is a great addition to Wendell. The menu had a lot of great sounding options so it was hard to pick but The Pedro I ordered was very good (better like spicy though). The only part that was unclear was the ordering process. The people I was with were also first timers and thought we might be seated by a hostess but you actually order yourself and pick up your own food. The cooks looked like they were swamped on a Sunday but they were hustling
