FOOD PREPARATION AND HYGIENE ISSUES… EAT AT YOUR OWN RISK….!!!!!!
We were very disappointed with our one (and only) order of food at Amayas. On my arrival to pick up our food, the restaurant employee was on the phone discussing a complaint with a customer as well as offering a fully comped next meal. That should have been my first warning. I took our take-out order home and upon opening the first box of rice, found hair throughout the rice as can be seen in the photos. We promptly threw out the food as this does not indicate that the food was prepared in a hygienic fashion. I then called the

Wish I could give zero stars. I had been to their “SPECIAL” New Year eve buffet but turned out to be one of the worst experiences I have had. I had a reservation for the dinner buffet and when I went to the restaurant I said I have a reservation and the waiter asked me to wait for some time even though there were plenty of tables empty. (in fact hardly 1-2 tables were filled). When I had called them the previous day to reserve a table they said they were going to have 25-30 items in the buffet menu. But in reality there were hardly 12-15 items and they were all regular items that they serve

I visited this wonderful Indian restaurant owned and managed by really amazing and kind people. Growing up in India, I've always loved eating South Indian food, especially Dosa. My significant other and I ordered dosa as well a small plate of vegetable momos. It was absolutely delicious, plating was excellent and the ambiance of the restaurant is marvelous. I would give this restaurant a 10/10.
My home is miles away and they made it close with a 10min drive.

This restaurant is THE gem of Indian cuisine in Rochester. My wife and I have been dining here frequently for the past year and there is just no competition for this place. It was recommended to us by several respected members of the Indian community and it has surpassed our expectations every time. The service is attentive and caring. If you have any question or issue with any menu item, just ask for Ramnish. He will ensure you have an wonderful experience. We've ordered half the items on the menu and the quality and consistency of the food never disappoint. The samosas and momo are delicious

Good meal, good choices, and some unique flavors. Nice ambience compared to other Indian restaurants in the area. Much more conducive to a date or business meeting. Momo's were good, Lamb chops were tasty, Chicken Biriyani was delicious!
Service was a little sluggish. They seem to charge a surcharge for credit card payments, which seems illegal, and you can complain to the State about it. Not to mention it seems very bad form for a restaurant of this quality. I expect it at a small hole in the wall beach stand with only counter take out, but for a nice restaurant it seems very tacky. I didn't

Ok food but very high price. Service was good. They charge surcharge on credit card transactions, I did not see that in a restaurant space. Who carries $100 or more cash these days. Everyone carries a card. The prices were increased as compared to what was displayed on the menu. Even after paying high prices if one has to pay transaction surcharge, leaves a bad taste.

We always have a great experience at Amaya whether we order takeout or dine in. The food is always amazing but the service is even better. It was our first time dining in since Covid, so we didn’t realize they were doing reservation only. When we walked in we only waited a couple minutes and they were able to accommodate us. We were impressed with the quick and accommodating service and are so glad we went there. The service throughout our dinner was high quality and attentive. We will definitely be making a reservation very soon to dine there again. Highly recommend!

One of the best place to have authentic Indian food. Love the Ambience of the place. The food is amazing here. You have a lot of options available and they do prepare the dishes according to your taste. The meal is served hot and fresh. I opted for a non vegetarian thali which was tummy filling. It was heavenly. Loved the crispy hot naan. Probably one of the best naans I have ever had. The chicken was good too. The service is pretty good and it's easy to locate.
Items in the non veg thali were samosa with green and sweet chutney, mix veg, chicken gravy, halwa, chicken biryani with raita and naan

This time during our stay in Rochester we tried Amaya Indian Cuisine as it was located near our stay. We had ordered through Ramnish Prabhakar the dinner course which consist of Tandoori Roti, Murg Makhani ( Butter Chicken) & Chicken Biryani. The taste was awesome and no words to express. We also ordered the same menu next day for Lunch as a parcel and took home for our dear ones. Ramnish & his wife Reema ( Chef ) are really excellent.

First, let's start with the fabulous service. Wow! is all I can say in regards to the experience at Amaya. I'm fortunate enough to have tried their food and especially the Tiffan service, which is just like… having Maa ke haath ka Khana ( Authentic Indian food) and very cost effective is a blessing to working professionals. Food is FRESH and it exceeded all expectations.
! A shout out to Ramneesh Bhai who went above and beyond to provide the tastiest food in Rochetser. So many dishes hit the mark and will be memorable for a long time. Well done!⭐️⭐️⭐️

So i ordered a crispy chana chaat and bread on 10/31 at 8pm and got the order pretty quickly. While amaya is always very good , somehow this time i got whole vegetables cut up instead of a chaat. I dont know if they have a new chef or the person just forgot to actually make the chaat but when you pay almost 11$ for something you have high expectations.

I have come since opening day. the food was amazing. it's been slipping. today I couldn't eat because the food was horribly spicy. I told the waitress that I couldn't eat the food today. she said she still had to charge me full price. I asked for a manager and she said there aren't any. we will never return
