Recently had dinner at this establishment. Atmosphere was quirky, eclectic with small booths and counter tables. The menu was decent and the servers were friendly.
Food was brought out promptly by an unmasked staff member. In fact, none of the staff was masked or followed protocols. The food was fresh with large portions. Chips and dip was $9 and a hamburger was $22. Our bill came to almost $100 and that is without alcoholic beverages.At the end of the meal, the server handed us a credit card reader, which was given to all the patrons to sign and add a tip. I went there for my partner's birthday. We ordered big plate of nachos for appetizer, the amount was huge! was so good, cannot stop eating till we became so full. Too full to eat dinner. I would love to go back when I have enough to pay comfortably for the whole meal. They are lil bit pricey. The place feels so cozy and hippie. Yes go there! I would go back during the summer so can eat outside!

Absolutely laughable. $7. For a teeny taco. That was barely edible. I only at half. My human trash can of a friend ate the rest. There is enough subpar TexMex, nothing authentic about the food despite the claims on their website, in Rochester that doesn't cost a minimum of $18 for an amount of food that might be considered a meal.
Out of 10 people spending a minimum if $20 each on food, only one person walked away slightly satisfied and that was with the burrito. There is no reason to waste your money here. Neno's is $4/taco and 1000x better.

Had great service here last night with our waiter Bryan T! When he overheard that it was someone in our parties birthday he said he would give us free pico de Gallo with our order of queso and guacamole. He also brought out churros as a complimentary dessert at the end of our meal! He was very sweet and attentive. The food was delicious for all in our party (tacos, a burrito and enchiladas were ordered) and many different types of margaritas and cocktails. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that it is a bit pricy so be prepared for that but overall it's a yummy spot for pretty authentic

A really fun spot near the public market
Plenty of tables to accommodate larger groups... A huge bar area with amazing cocktails
Love the indoor decor very well thought out. We tried a few different appetizers along with the main course and all of our food was delicious

Not bad, but I have had better Mexican food elsewhere. The burrito I had was not cooked well and was barely warm. I think they just throw precooked ingredients in it and roll it up. The beans are not refried, rather simply whole beans. The loaded Fry's were very good. I suggest trying this place just don't expect the best food experience.

There are a lot of things to love about this restaurant. The menu, the decor, and the ambience all go a long way.
Our server was lovely but the other staff interactions we had were less awesome. The hostess tried to sit us at the bar since we didn't have a reservation... even though there were tables available and we had called ahead asking if we needed a reservation. She reluctantly sat us at a hightop. Once at our table, our drinks took forever to come and the server recommended ordering well in advance of when we needed them since the bartender was also the owner and not attentive to

Bitter Honey is located near public market and have the parking lot.
When my friend and I first entered the restaurant and we were in awe of Mexican style and loved the way how they designed the walls. It's really amazing!!!
The food - O.M.G. It is not something I would expect!!! Food was damn delicious!! Forgive my language. I just have to tell you that their food was amazing!!! My friend agreed with me. We would suggest our girls to have dinner for girls night. I would recommend you all to go this place if you want to have some feeling of Mexican food!!!

Located just outside the Rochester Regional Farmers Market, this Mexican restaurant doesn't offer what you'd call "authentic" or "traditional" cuisine from the region. But I honestly don't care because both the food and atmosphere are fun! Indoor and outdoor seating is available right now. Focusing just on the tacos it can seem a bit pricey at $7 each. But once made into an entree of 3 tacos with a side of beans & rice it feels more reasonable. The beans & rice were okay but didn't bring much to the meal flavor wise. The first taco I tried was the Al Pastor: roasted pork, charred pineapple salsa

Looking for a fun place to have amazing cocktails, delicious appetizers and support friendly welcoming service? Bitter Honey is your destination. I highly recommend the house margarita Which is more on the tart… side and less sweet than some of these other places I've been. also their chips and guacamole are very good. honestly, I've never had bad service here or a meal where I wasn't absolutely happy with it. The bartenders are super accommodating and friendly and really everyone here is fun, accommodating and happy to help. highly recommend this place. could not give it a better rating

The music is very loud and I had a difficult time having a conversation across the table. Our neighboring tables were also all very loud, so not a great date night spot. It was pretty crowded when I went. Our waitress managed to be attentive, quite friendly and cheerful despite being so busy.

This place as just amazing! The atmosphere was so trendy and airy and I for one am obsessed!!!! The berry margarita was just delicious so of course I ordered 2! We also got the queso, chicken nachos and I got 2 tacos and whole it was a little pricey I didn't really mind because the quality was great and I believe you're also paying for great service which we got. Definitely will be going back!

The host was excellent and the place was just as I remembered fabulous! At first Bret seemed a little irritated when he came to the table and introduced himself and me and my family tried to get him to laugh by making jokes and even asking if there was any specials or what’s popular on Saturdays to eat and drink since I’ve have not ate at Butter honey in almost two years. Bret did not bugged! He just went from 5 to 3 with his energy, so we tried to not let it get to us and we thought the tacos were going to replace the mood of the waiter.... from a group rating of 6people, the tacos were okay

I went here on May 14, and it was my first time going here; living close to many restaurants I never thought about going to this one; words can't explain how much of a great experience I had. Everyone was so inviting and the creative art on the walls took my breath away. Although, I didn't like their special taco that had cabbage in it, I took the courage to try it and it was so delicious! All the mixtures of different flavors melts in your mouth. I'm a big fan of Bitter Honey! The aesthetic Inside is amazing and it has a really great vibe. The bar has plenty of seating and they have a wide variety of drinks, including margaritas obviously. I do love their menu (churros, tacos, etc) but it is pretty pricey compared to other similar restaurants. Each taco is $7 and while delicious, it's not a place I frequent because of the price. You do get what you pay for though, so the quality is excellent.

So the first thing that I would like to mention is that I appreciate the ambiance of Bitter Honey. Very dim. Casual, yet feels upscale. You can come in a three piece suit, or in nighttime pajamas and you'll still feel just as comfortable. The convenience of the parking lot across the street was a nice bonus.
We came as a group of 4. Our server, Emma, was fantastic. She got us our drinks and waters right away. The drinks were great, We enjoyed the margaritas that we chose. They didn't have any Patron so we decided to try to house Tequila Blanco. It was surprisingly smooth and didn't leave an aftertaste
