Located in Bardstown, KY, Cecil Family Eyecare has been serving Central Kentucky for over 6 years. Our office is conveniently located on North Third Street in Bardstown. Call us to make an appointment with Dr. Cecil to talk about your eyeglasses, contact lenses or specialty lens needs. You are also welcome to drop in anytime to browse through our large selection of designer eyeglass frames and sunglasses.
Dr. Leslie Cecil is a native of Somerset, KY. She has worked in the optical field since 1994. After several years working as a Licensed Optician, she decided to fulfill her dream of becoming an Optometrist. Dr. Cecil completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Louisville. She then earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the prestigious University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry.
At Cecil Family EyeCare, we believe strongly in giving back to the community and caring for the eyes of all those in need. Outreach programs represent an opportunity to show the community the level of commitment our optometrists have to their community. The staff also plays an important role in community outreach.
Our eye care center, Cecil Family Eyecare offers a full range of eye health services to clients of all ages, from children to older adults: routine eye exams and vision tests, eye disease diagnosis and management, immediate attention for eye emergencies, and complete eye health management. The optometrists in our practice provide eyewear prescriptions and offer corrective laser eye surgery co-management as well.

I absolutely loved Cecil’s. The exam went very smoothly. The staff was thorough and friendly. The optician was very knowledgeable and made sure I understood every word that he said. Their selection of frames was very unique, and they made sure I found exactly what I was looking for in my price range. Highly recommend!

This was the best eyecare experience I have ever had. I received high quality service to say the least. Their use of the newest technology and their willingness to explain things in detail and in a way that is understandable was very appreciated. They also involved me in the decision making process instead of just telling me what to do.. rare and also much appreciated. Finally, I ended up getting money back in the form of rebates that they were kind enough to make me aware of. I'd give em 10 stars if I could!

Dr. Leslie, Kevin and their staff are the best! They make you feel right at home and make you feel as if you're the only patient they've seen all day! Dr. Leslie is very thorough, making sure to address all concerns. They were also great with my two children. Both kids look forward to going to see Dr. Leslie and Kevin.

Cecil Family Eyecare is amazing! Dr. Cecil is very personable and made me feel very comfortable while examining my eyes. Her equipment is the most advanced I've ever seen. She helped me with a new prescription for my contacts and helped me choose the healthiest solution for my eyes. Kevin and the rest of the office staff are also unmatched. Thank you to the entire staff at Cecil Family Eyecare for my new specs! The staff here was very accommodating, even doing 3 members of my family's eye exams the same day to help us with a scheduling conflict. We live far away but will drive past 20 other optometrist offices to go here instead! Excellent service from beginning to end!
