Dr. Tina Kreutzer is a Shepherdsville Kentucky native, graduating from Bullitt Central High School in the year 2000 with her maiden name of Dillander. She was involved in several school programs and athletics. Dr. Kreutzer attended the University of Louisville to obtain a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics with Pre-Medical Requirements in 2005.
Regular vision and eye examinations are a critical part of preventative health care. Many eye disorders have no obvious signs or symptoms, but regular exams can find them before they cause permanent damage. We perform a thorough exam of the visual system for signs of nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism, presbyopia, and other visual defects.
In addition to ensuring great vision, we evaluate your full medical history. Many health features are associated with vision, as well as your ocular comfort and wellbeing. We also work closely with superior cataract and LASIK surgeons to conveniently provide pre and post-operative care. There are many great procedures to improve your vision with outstanding outcomes!
A child's vision is an important part of their development and overall quality of life. We are able to perform a comprehensive eye examination on infants and toddlers using objective and highly accurate measurements. Believe it or not, the first eye exam is recommended between 6-12 months of age!
Including a trip to the optometrist on the list of well-baby check-ups can determine healthy development of vision and provide early detection of eye conditions.After their infant eye exam, parents are encouraged to bring their child in for an eye examination at 3 years of age, even if they are not displaying problems.

Unfortunately there are times when you need urgent medical care. If your eye is sick for any reason, the best attention you can receive is from an eye care specialist. This was my second year using Healthy Eyes after having to make the switch due to insurance. But I'm glad I did! They give me top notch care and make sure all of my questions are answered before I leave. Last year I had an issue with my insurance, but I called them up and they figured it out for me, and I didn't have to spend forever on the phone with the insurance company.

My family has been getting our eye exams and glasses here for a few years now. We really like Dr. Tina and all the staff! They are very knowledgeable but easily explain things in terms we can understand.
They’re also very helpful and patient when we’re picking out frames.
We are pleased with the frame selection and are always happy with our experience there.

I have been a patient here since day one! They are the most friendly and personable staff ever. Very helpful with any of your eye care needs. My daughter and I purchase glasses and contacts as well as our yearly eye exams. I wouldn't go anywhere else!!
Accepts most insurance. Reasonable prices. Nice up to date styles and selections. Day and evening appointments available. They will also file your insurance.
