We are an immigration law firm based in Chicago committed to serving our clients in the Chicagoland community and across the country. Since 1973, our team has worked tirelessly to meet our clients' needs on the path to legal status. We are a full-service firm representing individuals and families in a variety of immigration matters, including family cases, removal (deportation) defense, U.S. citizenship and naturalization, and appeals.
If you have paperwork from Immigration or important legal documents like travel documents, criminal case paperwork, or petitions, it is always helpful to bring them with you. They stopped me from deportation and they helped me a lot in court. They told me 'this case is good, you qualify for three reasons for residency and in two years you will.

I don't write many reviews because quite honestly, I don't see the purpose in them. However, this is law related and it's also concerning for family members and possibly losing them. My family has a current case with them. We have almost paid the entire sum of the cases and have gotten such poor response from our team. Let's be mindful that we started this while COVID was on the rise and I understand the impact COVID placed on the legal field. However, I should probably tell you I was just accepted to Northwestern Law and have been working with two Fortune 500 law firms for about three years. I

I love Felipe!! He is very patient, prompt, and professional. My husband is going through an immigration case that has me a nervous wreck but with Felipe’s honesty and being so upfront about everything he just makes you feel relaxed about it all. I hope if anyone has a case and sees this review you ask if he van do your case because I promise you you will be in good hands!! He will call back or answer emails fast he is never Rude about how many times you call a day. He is in this business for the right reason and that is to help others with their status or whatever the case may be.

They worked on our process 2 years ago and I was very unsatisfied. We paid ALL in advance (around $6K) in just one payment and got ZERO personal attention. It's just a big firm which has already forgotten the basics of customer service.
Everytime I visited the office I saw different people who gave us different and short information that definitely caused us to waste a lot of time in the process. I saw or emailed at least 5 different assistants/lawyers and they also changed the lawyer and assistant assigned to our case in the middle of the process. We met our actual lawyer till the day before

We used Katie Vannucci and Angie Antunez to help with our CR1 US green card application. They were brilliant. They genuinely care and are extremely professional. They were transparent from the beginning, always available/responsive and went to bat for us. We could not reccomend them enough and will be using them for any future immigration requirements.

I recently received my Visa in November of 2019 thanks to them. Izamar Ontiveros walked us through the whole process and helped us every step of the way. They were always in communication with my husband and I, especially when we traveled to Ciudad Juárez. I will recommend them to anyone who needs an immigration lawyer.

I'm a citizen of the US and now have 4 years trying to help my husband get his visa. I've paid more than 8,000 dollars mailed in documents over and over and no progress. When I call to find out any good news they ask for more documents and just keep telling me there's been another delay. Uffff how much longer

"I set up an appointment with Ahlgren's office, and was attended by an associate. After that appointment, I supposedly became and was considered a client of their Firm. Later on, as a follow up of my case, I requested to be received by Mr. Ahlgren himself (as I had expected in my first appointment), and discuss my case with him. In the beginning, he treated me in a correct manner, but far from answering my questions (about a not so complicated immigration process), he became very negative, almost telling me that there was no possibility to get a waiver and change of status (I was then
