Founded in 2001 we are an established property management firm representing investment rental homes in the Hillsboro, Beaverton and general Portland metro area with emphases on honesty, professionalism, and communication. All of us at Holland Properties, pride ourselves on maintaining excellent communication with our clients and tenants.
With over 100 years combined property management experience and some of our team owning investment property themselves we have what it takes to get the job done right. The transition to being a big company is hard though and not all can make it work. We have made that transition now having over 25 employees and still giving great service.

I'm not 1 to generally leave reviews, but when you come across an employee who consistently goes above and beyond, especially these days where so many have the "it's just a paycheck" mentality, I think it's worth mentioning.

One of the best property management companies I’ve ever worked with. Jimmy was in charge of fixing the condo I’m staying at and he did a phenomenal job fixing everything that needed tending to. He didn’t forget anything and DJ made sure everything in the entire house worked absolutely perfect before they left. They even coordinated a complimentary carpet cleaning. I mean wow talk about going the extra mile. 5 Stars through and through for Jimmy and DJ.

Sal just left after replacing the light fixtures above the kitchen sink. He was masked up when I met him at the front door and he out booties on before entering. He was quick and thorough in completing the work. He cleaned up after he was done and was very pleasant. Thank you and great job.

Maintenance technicians Sal and Scott are two of BEST in the business! If Sal or Scott shows up to your door, you can guarantee the job is getting done. These guys show up early and go above and beyond what was required of them to ensure the job is done correctly. I've rented with Holland Properties for a number of years and these two technicians are by far the BEST I've ever encountered.

We have been renting from Holland for nearly two months now and this is probably the worst experience I've ever had working with a property management company. When we moved in half the lights in the house did not work and the dishwasher gushed water all over the floor, all of which can be pretty typical given houses with a little age, but every time we have emailed them, called them, or submitted maintenance requests through their proprietary portal, they have been completely unresponsive. I am an owner of a home managed by Holland Properties in Hillsboro for the past three years. Prior to the company being sold I couldn’t have been happier. The original owners of Holland Properties (Mark and Debbie Holland) were fantastic - very responsive, always proactive, followed through on everything and really knew how to instill confidence so I could sleep well at night knowing my property was being well managed and my tenants were well taken care of. Three years ago there wasn’t a single review less than 4 stars and nearly all were five stars.

Day 6 since our move-in. Here is a breakdown on what we discovered since day 1:
1. The refrigerator light is gone.
2. sink spray head handle is stuck and render the stationary sink faucet useless.
3. smoke detector ran out of battery (we had to call the fire department). This drove us and our neighbors insane for the past few days.
4. Lawn sprinklers does not trigger at all. (our neighbor told us previous tenant had to replace the entire lawn because Holland Property makes the tenant to tend the lawn and deal with the POS HOA)
5. One of the window blinds fell off.
6. Dryer unit is suboptimal

Honestly the worst management company I have ever worked with. To begin, moving into the house I was renting multiple issues came up with appliances, lights, and doors. When the issues were brought up to management we were told they would send someone which then got canceled due to Covid. Understandable, however they never came out in the year we lived there and then we were charged for maintenance labor when we left. We were also charged $600 for cleaning and additional maintenance labor for “removing resident related items” when we paid professional cleaners and have video evidence that the

The system to report maintenance notifications is awful. They do not respond to concerns or requests from tenants or vendors. I have not had hot water for three days and no response from maintenance after the initial discovery. The phone system requests a mobile form be completed but the system does not take the input or entry to send the form. It then leads you into an endless wormhole with no way to reach anyone.

Working with Holland Properties was an easy choice - they were recommended to me by two real agent estates I've worked with and trust; they manage the rental properties of said agents, as well. I've only worked with Mark / Debbie for a few months - but even during the harder-to-renter fall/winter months, Holland Properties was able to find me a reliable renter. I live out of state, so having a property manager who communicates well and uses email and dashboards makes it easier for me. Jury's out for how future months will go once the renter moves in, but I have high hopes!

We were lucky to have found Mark and Debbie to manage our property. The reason why we decided to go with them is that they didn't just send out their leasing agent but instead came out to meet us by themselves over a weekend. They patiently explained the terms of the leasing agreement and looked over the property carefully. We have been with them for over six months now, and they have helped us resolve big and small issues over the time. We are very happy with their response time and with the tenants they found for us. We would highly recommend them to other Yelpers.

I have recently had the great luck of working with Cheri on trying to find a rental. She immediately asked questions to help better understand what I am looking for. She didn't rush me on the phone when asking clarifying questions about available rentals. When I realized a property we had scheduled for me to view was just too far from my work she was very understanding when I called to cancel and still asked questions and gave advice so I can still possible find a rental with Holland Properties! I really hope I can rent from them in the near future. They make me feel special in such a busy

Holland Properties did an exceptional job managing a property for us. Great with communication, and they brought in great tennants. There was never an issue with any of the tennants as they were all screened very well in advance. Holland follows the book and seemed to treat our property as if it were their own. Avoid this property management business if you want to save yourself a headache upon move out. They are crooks and liars.
We rented a townhome from them for 4 years. The process before our move out was flawless.
We were not late on rent and left the property cleaner than when we moved in. The week we moved in we filled out a "move in" report which indicated the things that were damaged before we moved in..ie large stain on carpet master bedroom, warped bathroom drawers, to give a few examples. All of which they tried to charge us for after our move-out, saying they did not have

We got bids from a number of people in town to manage a duplex and not only were they the most reasonable, but they are the most professional. They took over control for us, got the rental up to code, made minor repairs and screened thoroughly. They advertised, showed the property and got us more in rent with a longer contract than expected. Now they send us a check every month. Couldn't be easier. Booyah!

As former tenants, we want to issue words of caution and warning to prospective tenants. We moved into a property that had extensive damage to the flooring throughout the house that we thoroughly documented when we took control of the property for our lease. Upon move out Mark and Debbie worked very hard to keep most of our security deposit to restore the unit to a like new condition (a condition that was disparately better than the condition of the unit we rented). The kitchen linoleum had multiple holes to the sub floor. The carpets had a large red stains, exposed tack strips, holes fraying.

Debbie and Mark are fantastic to work with. As a property owner it can be rather unsettling to leave it in control of someone else but I would recommend Holland Properties again and again. They took great care in managing my property, they were able to find wonderful tenants within two weeks!! Debbie is incredibly responsive and helpful with any needs. I ended up selling the home and Debbie helped me secure a contractor and helped with some other things I needed to do before I sold. Very reasonable price for incredible service. Owners, Mark and Debbie, are wonderful to work with, upfront, patient, and put a lot of effort and care in managing our property. We had mortgage issues to deal with and they were very understanding while we brought closure to it. Once we were ready to put it on the market and notified Mark, he was able to rent out it out in 1 DAY!!! Absolutely insane! High quality service, for a highly competitive price. Can't be beat!
