Red Line Towing is conveniently located in San Mateo near HWY 92 and HWY 101. We are professionals who are well trained and certified to handle your precious cargo with care, and we offer full service auto and truck towing. If your car or truck needs a tow, Red Line can take care of it. Whether it's an all-wheel drive, a lifted 4x4, or a regular two-wheel drive car, we can tow it. No matter the situation or vehicle location, we can tow your car to where you need it to go, whether that's locally or long distance, day or night.
We have a flatbed truck in our fleet that is used for special tows. All-wheel drive vehicles and many exotic cars are easiest to tow on a flatbed, and certain motorcycles are most secure on a flatbed as well. Many custom vehicles (like lowered cars or trucks) benefit from flatbed use also.

Do you need a medium duty tow truck? Some 3/4 and 1 ton trucks fall into the medium duty category because of how much they weigh. If you are unsure what tow truck you need, please call. Anything with a GVW of 10,001-19,500lbs is considered a medium duty tow. Ford F-550's, GMC or Chevy 5500's, and Dodge Ram 5500 trucks or vans are all considered medium duty tows.
Red Line specializes in local towing but we can also assist in long distance towing. A long distance tow would be any tow that goes outside the greater bay area. It is not uncommon to make trips to the central valley, Sacramento, or even San Luis Obispo. We do not offer out of state towing or transport at this time but we can refer you to companies that do.

I was in car accident and unfortunately had experience with Red Line Towing. Their worker did everything very slowly. After he pulled the car from the intersection and got out of the car and talked with road workers for about 15 minutes. I had to rush him. Naturally, the rate was hourly - 260$ per hour!! They towed my car for 3 miles to the nearest body shop. I called their company 1 week after the accident and they said that the price will be 160$ for exactly this kind of service.

Terrible company and people.
My car has been towed by Redline Towing and spent a couple of weeks at their storage facility. Everything they do is "by the law". However, this is pretty much legal extortion. Their goal is to keep the car on their lot as long as possible so they can charge you more and therefore make your life as had as possible.
On top of it, they damaged my car and refuse to take responsibility. I guess the next step is to take them to small case court.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!!
